On August 20, 2003, residing in Hollywood, CA, beloved son of Steve and Arline Johansen of Ocean City, MD, loving brother of Stephanie Fessler of Ridgely, MD and Steve Johansen of Orlanda, FL, devoted uncle of Shirlene Anderson and Stephanie Morlock of Ridgely, MD. Successful architect and designer and traveled to many different countries and had a fulfilling life of 42 years. A memorial service will be held in Hollywood, CA, on September 20, 2003, with his many friends and family.

Frank W. ElzeyRetired C&P salesmanA memorial service for Frank W. Elzey, who retired in 1983 as a salesman with the coin phone department of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co., will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Glenelg United Methodist Church, 13900 Burntwoods Road.Mr. Elzey died April 17 of a brain tumor at his home on Castlebar Drive in Glenwood. He was 68.Born in Woodberry, N.J., he grew up in Centreville and graduated from Centreville High School. During World War II, he served first as a merchant seaman and then with the Coast Guard.

Community College.Ziegler, a 6-foot-3, 227-pound right-hander who was All-Metro in his senior year (1997), is 2-0 with 28 strikeouts and has given up 12 hits in 20 innings for the 5-3 Eagles.Alabama's Junior College Player of the Year and an All-American at Muscle Shoals (Ala.) Community College last spring, Ziegler transferred to Tallahassee after Shoals coach Mark Lee resigned. He was 12-2 with three saves last spring.
