REGINA F. SAMPSON of Ocean View, DE, formerly of Floyd, VA and New Port Richey, FL, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2006 at Green Valley Terrace, Millsboro, DE. She was 82. Mrs. Sampson was born April 3, 1924 in Baltimore, MD. She was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Gertrude (Landrkin) Mc Grane. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Frank H. Sampson, two daughters, Janet Smith and her husband Lew of Frankford and Jennifer Sampson, three grandchildren, Kerry Meadows, Tracey Hankins and Michael Smith of Bel Air, MD. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services of Ocean View, DE. Services and burial will be private.

Kernan, one daughter Barbara Reick Moulinier, one brother Sterl Brown, and one sister Elsie Mallonee, four grandchildren Robin Kernan-Harvey, Tim Kernan, David Kernan and Sean Reick. Wednesday at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro, DE, where friends may call one hour before the Service, and also on Tuesday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. PERCY D. PEARSON of Baltimore, MD passed on April 26, 2006 while in the Lewes Convalescent Home, Lewes, DE. He was born July 12, 1907 in Woodruff, SC. He was the son of the late John and Noni Foster Pearson. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard-Merchant Marine where he served over 50 yars in various capacities. During his tour, he served during World War I and II. Gerald T. Knauer, a Baltimore firefighter who served with Engine Company 54, died in a motorcycle accident Sunday in Frederick. He was 41 and lived in Upperco. Mr. Knauer was riding his Harley-Davidson when a car in front of him caused an accident on U.S. 15. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His fiancee, Carol Lynn Nelson, also of Upperco, who was riding behind him on another motorcycle, was also injured in the accident and was treated at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born in Baltimore and raised in Overlea, Mr. Knauer was a 1979 graduate of Towson Catholic High School.
