On February 16, 2006, PAUL MORRIS RILEY, beloved husband of the late Virginia Louise (nee Varner), devoted father of Kathleen Capan and her husband John, Michael Riley and his wife Darlene, dear grandfather of Jon Capan and his wife Kimberly, Michael and Katie Riley, Nicolas and Lauren Capan, great-grandfather of Justin and Peter Capan, also survived by two granddogs Josie and Tillie. A funeral service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26)

On May 31, 2007, THOMAS L. RILEY III of Lake Panasoffkee, FL. Beloved husband of Barbara Anne Temple Riley. Devoted son of Catherine D. Riley and the late Thomas L. Riley, Jr. Father of the late Mark Riley. Dear brother of Elaine Mily and her husband Edward, Bernard Riley and his wife Colleen, and Michael Riley and his wife Jane. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, David and Daniel Jamison, Edward Mily Jr., Brian and Beth Riley, Tim and Maggie Riley, and dear friends, Karyn and Doug Thacker and Brooke, Nikki, Andrew and Kalyn Thacker.

On December 27, 2003, CATHERINE M. (nee Schafer); beloved wife of Walter L. Riley; devoted mother of Dr. Michael Riley and wife Cava, Patricia M. Riley and Mary Bristol and husband Robert. A Christian wake service will be held at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Rd. (Kingsville) on Monday, at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen's Church (Bradshaw) on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 9 PM, Tuesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to St. Stephen's Church or to the American Cancer Society or to the Maryland School for the Blind.

Riley of Ellicott City, has been promoted to senior vice president of the Daughters of Charity National Health System-East Region based in Linthicum.In addition to his responsibility for finance of the east region, Riley has assumed several general management duties involving responsibility for information services.Riley, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant.He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.

The Constellation Foundation board of directors more than doubled in size yesterday as it elected 17 new members -- 13 of them business and civic leaders named by Baltimore Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke to help in devising repair and financing plans for the deteriorating ship.Also yesterday, U.S. Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin, D-3rd District, announced that he is seeking an emergency appropriation of $1 million from the federal government in the next fiscal year to put the landmark ship in dry-dock and have it stabilized and surveyed for damage.
