Margaret B. Schreitz, 81, a former music teacher in Anne Arundel County schools, died Nov. 1 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington of heart failure. A memorial service for the 81-year-old resident of Linstead on the Severn was set for 11 a.m. today at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park.

Catherine H.C. Marshall, a retired secretary and longtime member of Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church, died of heart failure Jan. 4 at the Presbyterian Home of Maryland in Towson. She was 101. Catherine Holt Cox was born in Hendersonville, N.C., and raised in Columbia, S.C. She attended Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C., where she studied library science. She dropped out of college during her senior year to help support her family. In 1928, she married Charles Kimball Marshall, a sports reporter, who joined The Sun that year and later became a copy editor.
