Townsend; devoted mother of Andrew, Henry and Atherton (Appy) Townsend; beloved daughter of Carter Sollers Bond; step-daughter of T. Talbott Bond. Also survived by one brother J. Sedwick Sollers, III. Interment private. A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Pauls Chapel, St. Pauls School for Boys, Brooklandville, on Saturday, November 20 at 1:30. Reception to follow. Survivors include his mother, Ethel Murphy; three brothers and three sisters-in law; one sister and one brother-in-law. Gathering Friday, June 11, 2004 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Issue, MD and Catholic Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Burial is private.
