Mary Grace Fountain, a former obstetrical nurse and church singer, died of cardiac arrest Thursday at her Woodlawn home. She was 86. Born Mary Grace Yates in Grafton, W.Va., she moved to Baltimore and earned a degree from the University Of Maryland School of Nursing in 1940. She worked in obstetrics at the University of Maryland hospital until 1960. Mrs. Fountain, an alto, sang and performed with her husband of 49 years, William C. Fountain, a retired Veterans Administration benefits coordinator.

George Rick O'Shea, a retired insurance executive who was active in church and civic activities, died of esophageal cancer Saturday at his Lutherville home. He was 79. Mr. O'Shea was known as Rick, his mother's maiden name. His mother wanted to keep her family's name alive after her only brother's wife died during the flu pandemic of 1918. Known for his sense of humor, Mr. O'Shea recalled in a recording his family made last month that his name was "a door opener in many conversations.

Mary Grace Tolson, 81, homemaker, golfer Mary Grace Tolson, a homemaker and avid golfer, died of respiratory failure March 11 at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. She was 81. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, the former Mary Grace Devine moved to Baltimore after marrying John C. Tolson in 1948. The couple met in Miami Beach, where Mrs. Tolson's family spent winters and where Mr. Tolson's Navy ship was docked. Mr. Tolson died in August. In their later years, the couple, who lived in Timonium, enjoyed golfing at the Country Club of Maryland in Towson, playing four or five times a week.

Hoddinott, grandmother of Shane and Brent Gardner and great-grandmother of Taylor Gardner. On Wednesday May 25, 2005 CHESTER S. SUFFECOOL worked for Black & Decker for 28 years. The Timonium resident was 67. He was the beloved husband of Mary Grace (nee Taylor) Suffecool for 45 years; devoted father of Charles W. Suffecool and his wife Laura and Joyce Ann Suffecool and her husband Tim Hayes; grandfather of Alex, Christina, and Zach. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the family owned Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., where Reverend Janice N. Meyer will officiate a Funeral service on Saturday, May 28, at 10 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
