A man wielding a knife robbed Domino's Pizza in Eldersburg Monday night, state police said yesterday.Police said a man entered Domino's in the 1300 block of Liberty Road about 10: 10 p.m. Flashing a knife, he demanded money, ordered employees to lie on the floor and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.No one was injured, police said.The suspect is believed to be the same man who has robbed a half-dozen stores since Dec. 22 in Carroll and Howard counties, police said.The suspect was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 145 pounds.

The 7-Eleven store in the 3900 block of Pulaski Highway in Abingdon was robbed Tuesday night by a man with a knife, police said. No one was inured in the robbery, which was reported at 10:46 p.m., according to Cristie Kahler, a spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office. The robber approached the clerk in the back of the store with a knife. He forced the clerk to open the register in the front of the store and hand over an undisclosed amount of cash, Kahler said. The robber is described as a white man, 20 to 25 years old. He was wearing a brown sweatsuit.

An Annapolis man is charged with trying to rob a midshipman at knifepoint outside a West Street tavern.Charles D. Cook Jr., 25, of Pindell Avenue, was arrested shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday at City Dock, about an hour after a midshipman reported he'd been held up in theparking lot of the Ram's Head Tavern.The 22-year-old midshipman told police he was confronted by a manwielding a kitchen knife in the parking lot. The robber said, "This is a holdup, give me your wallet," and the midshipman handed over hisempty wallet.

Police are looking for a man who robbed an Edgewood 7-Eleven early Saturday. The suspect, a white man with light brown hair approximately 6 feet tall and 250 pounds, entered the store around 4:45 a.m. and displayed a knife to the clerk before taking an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and an assortment of cigarettes, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. He left the convenience store in the 1000 block of Gateway Road on foot. The suspect had facial hair and wore a light gray, zippered hoodie, a black or blue baseball cap with a flat brim, blue jeans and black sneakers, police said.

A man wielding a knife robbed a clerk at a Woodbine convenience store Wednesday night and fled on foot, according to state police in Westminster. The robber entered the 7-Eleven store in the 7600 block of Woodbine Road near Interstate 70 about 10:40 p.m. and demanded cash, police said The clerk told police the man displayed a knife with an 8-inch blade. She described the man as white, 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had dirty blond to light brown hair.

A man armed with a 6-inch knife robbed an Arnold motel Sunday morning of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.The man walked into the Days Inn in the 1500 block of Whitehall Road about 2:50 a.m. and brandished the knife at Andrew Andrezywski, 20, the clerk on duty. The robber ordered Mr. Andrezywski to open the cash drawer and took the money when the clerk complied, police said.The man then ordered Mr. Andrezywski and a witness who was in the office to lie face down on the floor and not to move before he ran off, police said.

A man with a knife lured a clerk from his booth yesterday and robbed a gas station of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.Janak Sherestha, 42, told police a man walked into the convenience store at the Exxon station in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway about 3: 30 a.m. and asked for lids for the soda cups.Sherestha left the booth to look for the lids and the man pulled a knife, forced the clerk behind the register and ordered him to open it.The man took money and ran. Police did not have a detailed description of the suspect.

A man armed with a steak knife robbed an Edgewater branch of Washington Federal Savings Bank Friday and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Anne Arundel County police said.No one was injured.Police said the suspect entered the branch in the 3100 block of Solomons Island Road about 10 a.m. wearing dark shorts, black shoes, a black T-shirt, a black cap, black gloves and a blue and white bandanna over his face.He displayed what appeared to be a steak knife and demanded money from a teller, who complied.

A Baltimore County policeman shot and killed a knife-wielding man early yesterday in Middle River after repeated demands to drop the weapon were ignored, a Police Department spokesman said. The dead man apparently spoke only Spanish, but police say they made their wishes clear despite the language barrier. The man - whose identity was not released - was shot about 2:30 a.m. on Sorgen Court near Wampler Road after he was chased there by police who had responded to a call of an assault at a nearby address, according to police spokesman Bill Toohey.

The Exxon gas station was robbed by a man with a knife early Tuesday morning. A man holding what looked like a kitchen knife walked into the gas station at the intersection of Route 924 and Singer Road in Abingdon shortly after midnight Monday. He demanded cash from the clerk, who handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, then ran out of the store and down Singer Road, Maryland State Police TFC Michael Bonczewski said Thursday. The robber is described as a white man who was wearing black pants and a gray hooded sweat shirt with the hood covering most of his face.

A city sheriff's deputy on his way to work Friday morning shot and wounded a man who authorities said jumped into his marked cruiser and attacked him with a knife at a busy intersection in Northeast Baltimore. The man was wounded in the left arm and taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was being treated. His condition was not available, but a spokeswoman for the Baltimore sheriff's office said he was conscious and talking to paramedics. Police identified the wounded man as Jontae L. Daughtry, 36, of the 1200 block of East Cold Spring Lane in New Northwood.

Baltimore County police say an officer shot a man near Dundalk Sunday night after responding to a call of a man threatening to kill himself with a knife about 9:20 p.m. Robert McCullough, a county police spokesman, said the man attacked the officer with a knife and the officer fired. Police had not yet released the name of the man or the police officer, but McCullough said he was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The incident took place in the 7000 block of Berkshire Road.

A man armed with a knife robbed the Lil Guardian Angels shop in Glen Burnie Saturday afternoon, and then possibly escaped down a bicycle trail, according to Anne Arundel County police. A clerk told police that a man walked into the store on Central Avenue about 3:30 p.m., took out a knife and demanded money as he went around the counter. Police said an undetermined amount of money was taken from the store, which sells baby clothes and toys. Police said the man escaped on foot, possibly down a nearby bike trail.

Man found fatally shot in Mosher neighborhood A man was found fatally shot yesterday afternoon near a church in the city's Mosher neighborhood, and police were without a suspect or a motive in the city's 21st homicide this year, authorities said. The victim's name was not released. Southwestern District police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Poplar Grove St., between West Lafayette Avenue and Mosher Street near St. Edward Catholic Church, and found the man bleeding from at least one bullet wound to the head.

A Reisterstown woman was kidnapped and assaulted as she jogged along Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard near Lake Waterford Park Sunday evening, county police said yesterday.According to police, the woman, 26, stopped about 6:30 p.m. to give directions to a man whose pickup truck was stopped along the side of the road. As she was talking with him, he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the truck.He drove her three miles to Magothy Bridge Road, threatened her with a knife, ordered her out of the truck and shoved her to the ground, police said.

Man gets 18 months for assaulting girl, 13 A 27-year-old Prince George's County man was sentenced yesterday to 18 months in jail for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl during a sleepover in Annapolis last year. Dwight Anthony Carter, 27, of Temple Hills pleaded guilty in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court to one count of third-degree sexual assault, part of a plea deal in which a more serious charge of second-degree rape was dropped. Judge Paul A. Hackner accepted the plea deal and sentenced Carter to five years, with all but 18 months suspended, and five years' supervised probation.

A Harford County man wearing black leather clothing and a black wig and carrying a bag containing a kitchen knife boarded a school bus yesterday morning and rode with students to Joppatowne High, authorities said. Jeffrey Cerrone, 26, of the 1500 block of Harford Square Drive in Edgewood was arrested upon arrival at the school, said Sgt. Christina Presberry, spokeswoman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office. No one was injured, she said, adding that the suspect took a seat and did not interact with any of the nearly 30 students on the bus during the trip.
