A man wielding a knife robbed Domino's Pizza in Eldersburg Monday night, state police said yesterday.Police said a man entered Domino's in the 1300 block of Liberty Road about 10: 10 p.m. Flashing a knife, he demanded money, ordered employees to lie on the floor and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.No one was injured, police said.The suspect is believed to be the same man who has robbed a half-dozen stores since Dec. 22 in Carroll and Howard counties, police said.The suspect was described as white, 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 145 pounds.

A Takoma Park youth was killed Saturday when he was hit by a pickup truck as he walked on Interstate 95 north of Route 32 in Savage, state police said.Henry Alvarez, 16, died after the driver of a 1994 Chevrolet pickup swerved into the slow lane where the victim and a friend were walking, Sgt. D. Austin of the Waterloo barracks said yesterday. A man with a knife lured a clerk from his booth yesterday and robbed a gas station of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.Janak Sherestha, 42, told police a man walked into the convenience store at the Exxon station in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway about 3: 30 a.m. and asked for lids for the soda cups.Sherestha left the booth to look for the lids and the man pulled a knife, forced the clerk behind the register and ordered him to open it.The man took money and ran. Police did not have a detailed description of the suspect.

A 56-year-old Columbia woman was robbed by a man wielding a knife as she sat in her car outside a townhouse and condominium development in Town Center Tuesday afternoon, Howard County police said.The woman was not injured. Police said a man surprised her about 2 p.m. in the 5400 block of Smooth Meadow Way, threatened her with a knife, grabbed her purse and ran.The robber was described as a thin black male standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and wearing a dark baseball hat, a dark T-shirt and long, dark pants, police said.

An officer called to quell a domestic quarrel at a Glen Burnie apartment Wednesday arrested the couple who lived there and a Pasadena man on drug charges after an officer spotted marijuana on a living room table, police said.Police said the officer arrived at the apartment in the 1100 block of Castle Harbor Way about 1:30 p.m. The man who answered the door told the officer his brother and a woman were in the bedroom fighting. When the couple told the officer they lived in the apartment, he arrested them and the man at the door and charged them with possession of marijuana.

Someone broke into an apartment in the 7800 block of Park West Drive on Tuesday, stripped a Christmas tree of its ornaments and took presents from under the tree, county police said.Michelle Miller, 21, told police she left the apartment about 12:30 p.m., returned three hours later and discovered the burglary.There were no signs of forced entry, police said.Man with knife takes money from restaurantA man armed with a hunting knife robbed a Subway restaurant in the 300 block of Hospital Drive on Tuesday, county police said.

Police are looking for the man who brandished a large butcher knife and robbed a Severna Park 7-Eleven store early Friday morning.The man, who was wearing a ski mask, walked into the store in the 100 block of Ritchie Highway about 1:30 a.m. He went to the counter and ordered the clerk to open the cash register. A man armed with a steak knife robbed an Edgewater branch of Washington Federal Savings Bank Friday and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, Anne Arundel County police said.No one was injured.Police said the suspect entered the branch in the 3100 block of Solomons Island Road about 10 a.m. wearing dark shorts, black shoes, a black T-shirt, a black cap, black gloves and a blue and white bandanna over his face.He displayed what appeared to be a steak knife and demanded money from a teller, who complied.

A man armed with a 6-inch knife robbed an Arnold motel Sunday morning of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.The man walked into the Days Inn in the 1500 block of Whitehall Road about 2:50 a.m. and brandished the knife at Andrew Andrezywski, 20, the clerk on duty. The robber ordered Mr. Andrezywski to open the cash drawer and took the money when the clerk complied, police said.The man then ordered Mr. Andrezywski and a witness who was in the office to lie face down on the floor and not to move before he ran off, police said.

A Reisterstown woman was kidnapped and assaulted as she jogged along Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard near Lake Waterford Park Sunday evening, county police said yesterday.According to police, the woman, 26, stopped about 6:30 p.m. to give directions to a man whose pickup truck was stopped along the side of the road. As she was talking with him, he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the truck.He drove her three miles to Magothy Bridge Road, threatened her with a knife, ordered her out of the truck and shoved her to the ground, police said.

Man found fatally shot in Mosher neighborhood A man was found fatally shot yesterday afternoon near a church in the city's Mosher neighborhood, and police were without a suspect or a motive in the city's 21st homicide this year, authorities said. The victim's name was not released. Southwestern District police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Poplar Grove St., between West Lafayette Avenue and Mosher Street near St. Edward Catholic Church, and found the man bleeding from at least one bullet wound to the head.

Man gets 18 months for assaulting girl, 13 A 27-year-old Prince George's County man was sentenced yesterday to 18 months in jail for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl during a sleepover in Annapolis last year. Dwight Anthony Carter, 27, of Temple Hills pleaded guilty in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court to one count of third-degree sexual assault, part of a plea deal in which a more serious charge of second-degree rape was dropped. Judge Paul A. Hackner accepted the plea deal and sentenced Carter to five years, with all but 18 months suspended, and five years' supervised probation.

A Baltimore County policeman shot and killed a knife-wielding man early yesterday in Middle River after repeated demands to drop the weapon were ignored, a Police Department spokesman said. The dead man apparently spoke only Spanish, but police say they made their wishes clear despite the language barrier. The man - whose identity was not released - was shot about 2:30 a.m. on Sorgen Court near Wampler Road after he was chased there by police who had responded to a call of an assault at a nearby address, according to police spokesman Bill Toohey.

A man wielding a knife robbed a clerk at a Woodbine convenience store Wednesday night and fled on foot, according to state police in Westminster. The robber entered the 7-Eleven store in the 7600 block of Woodbine Road near Interstate 70 about 10:40 p.m. and demanded cash, police said The clerk told police the man displayed a knife with an 8-inch blade. She described the man as white, 18 to 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He had dirty blond to light brown hair.
