A man trying to throw an intoxicated reveler out of a New Year's party in Odenton was stabbed in the leg early Sunday, according to Anne Arundel County police. Michael A. Daniels, 26, of Washington, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, but police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Police said the incident occurred about 3:30 a.m in a house in the 300 block of Cowman Court.

A man was stabbed Friday night at Benchwarmer's Pub in Middle River, Baltimore County police said. Police received a call at 11:28 p.m. and determined that the man was stabbed in the torso. It was unclear whether the stabbing occurred inside or outside the pub, police said. Officers did not identify the man. The injured man was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is in stable condition, said Cpl. John Wachter, a Baltimore County police spokesman.

A 45-year-old man was stabbed to death Wednesday evening in the Northwest Baltimore neighborhood of Central Park Heights, city police said. The stabbing occurred about 8:30 p.m. in an apartment in the 3500 block of Woodland Ave., police said Thursday. The victim, identified as Christopher Gilliam, was stabbed in the neck, torso and thigh, and died at 9:21 p.m. at Sinai Hospital. Police said a woman was taken into custody, and described her as a person of interest, but said no charges have been filed as the investigation continues.

A man was stabbed to death in the Northwest Baltimore neighborhood of Central Park Heights Wednesday evening, police said. The stabbing took place in the 3500 block of Woodland Ave at around 8:30 p.m., police said. A suspect is in custody. An man was robbed and stabbed late Friday by several assailants as he walked near 54th Street and Lansdale Road in Dundalk, according to Baltimore County police. Officers said they were called about 12:45 a.m. The victim, who was not identified, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, with "non life threatening injuries," officers said. It's unclear what was taken in the robbery and how the man was hurt.

Baltimore city police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Tuesday in the downtown area. A man, whose age and identity were not known, was stabbed multiple times in the 100 block of East Redwood Street at about 2:40 a.m. The spot is near the Bank of America building and about two blocks from the Inner Harbor. Baltimore County police have charged a 23-year-old Cockeysville woman with assault in connection with a stabbing Tuesday evening at her home on Lord Byron Lane. Samantha Steck faces first- and second-degree assault charges. A judge set bail at $25,000, and Steck is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center. A man who lived with Steck called police at 11:23 p.m. from a residence near York and Alms House roads. He told police that he had been stabbed in the chest. Police said the victim was Steck's boyfriend.

City police are investigating a stabbing and a shooting that claimed the lives of two Baltimore men. In the first homicide, a woman flagged down an officer at about 5:40 p.m. Monday and directed him to a home in the 100 block of N. Poppleton St., near the new medical examiner's building in West Baltimore. The officer found a 22-year-old man, identified as Gregory Parker, outside and suffering from a single stab wound to his back. Parker, of the 3100 block of Windsor Ave., was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died at 6:18 p.m. Police did not give a motive; Parker did not appear to have a criminal record.

Two people were killed in Columbia in the span of a day, Howard County police said Tuesday. A Baltimore bail bondswoman was fatally shot late Monday and a man was stabbed to death in an apartment complex parking lot Tuesday afternoon, doubling the county's total number of homicides for the year. Police, responding to several calls from people reporting that they'd heard gunshots, found Nichole Bernadette McNair, 42, in the 8700 block of Hayshed Lane in the village of Long Reach at about 10 p.m. Monday.
