Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.Southwestern DistrictShooting: A man and his girl friend were drinking beer in a wooded area in the 4600 block of Edmondson Ave. about 11 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, approached and announced a robbery. When the man got up to flee, the gunman shot him in a leg and shoulder. The woman was not injured. The victim was in good condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.Northeastern DistrictShooting: A teen-age male was at Harford Road and The Alameda about 4 p.m. yesterday when a gunman got out of a car and fired three shots, hitting him in the arm and leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

A man with a gun threatened to rob a Laurel motel Saturday, but the clerk on duty refused to hand over any money and the would-be robber ran away with nothing, county police said.The man came to the front entrance of the Econo Lodge Inn, located in the 9700 block of U.S.1, at 11:30 p.m. and asked to be buzzed through the electronic door,police said.After the clerk allowed the man in, he inquired about the price of a room, but before the clerk could tell him, he pulled a handgun out of the waistband of his pants, police said.
