A man was stabbed and a woman was assaulted early Saturday morning in Glen Burnie in what appears to be a domestic disturbance between two men and a woman, Anne Arundel County police said. Police responding to an incident at the 300 block of Klagg Court at approximately 12:52 a.m., said that Carlos Ellis Spencer, 28, of Baltimore forced his way into the residence and cut a male victim with a knife. The male victim sustained non-life threatening injuries before fleeing the scene, police said.

Baltimore homicide detectives have charged 25-year-old James Berry in a 2011 triple shooting in Bolton Hill that killed a 21-year-old man. Berry, described by one police commander as a "high roller" because of his suspected connection to violence, was taken into custody in the 1100 block of E. 33rd St. on Wednesday and booked on charges of murder and attempted murder. The shooting killed 21-year-old Angelo Fitzgerald and injured two others....

Maryland State Police say they have arrested and charged a 22-year-old man in connection with armed robberies last month at gas station convenience stores in Abingdon and Riverside. Lucas Larsen, whose address was not immediately available, was arrested Monday morning and charged with assault - first degree, assault - second degree, reckless endangerment, armed robbery and theft less than $1,000, State Police said in a news release. Larsen was arrested Monday morning in Sykesville, Sgt. Jeffrey Kloiber, head of the criminal investigation section at the Bel Air Barrack, said Monday evening.

A Kingsville man wanted in connection with several home burglaries in Harford and Baltimore counties was arrested Wednesday morning, Maryland State Police said. Joel Lee Knauer, 35, of the 7000 block of Mount Vista Road, was taken into custody on arrest warrants for burglary in the two counties, State Police said. Investigators from the Bel Air Barrack and troopers from the State Apprehension Team responded to a residence in Middle River at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, where they arrested Knauer after he attempted to flee from the rear of the residence, State Police said in a news release issued from the Bel Air Barrack.

Anne Arundel police have charged a teenager as an adult and are looking for four others in connection with a home invasion in Glen Burnie Tuesday. Terance Johnson Jr., 17, of the 100 block of Henson Road in Glen Burnie, faces multiple counts of armed robbery, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment, assault and theft. The victims, who were not injured, told police that five men broke into their home in the 100 block of Southbridge Drive about 2 a.m. The suspects, who were armed and masked, ran from the home after taking money and property.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Essex man in connection to three fires set early Friday. Justin Karmasek of the 800 block of North Marlyn Avenue was charged for setting on fire a carport in the 100 block of Wiltshire Road, a vehicle in the 100 block of Riverside Drive and a garage attached to a vacant home. Police and firefighters were called to the scene of the fires at 4:11 a.m. Friday. Two vehicles and a boat were damaged in the fire on Wiltshire Road. Police located Karmasek in the area and placed him under arrest.

A 27-year-old man was charged with assault, robbery and theft in a hold-up of a cab driver early Friday in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood. Branden Barnes was arrested after detectives spotted him walking along Keswick Road. Officers responded to a robbery report at about 3:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Keswick Road. The cab driver told police his passenger displayed a knife and demanded money, police said. The victim sustained minor lacerations to his neck and hands in a struggle.

UPDATED - Baltimore County police said a man was arrested Aug. 17, in connection with a robbery that occurred this morning at the PNC Bank branch located inside the Giant Food in Towson. According to Elise Armacost, director of media and communications for the Police Department, the incident occurred Friday, Aug. 17, at about 10:30 a.m. Armacost said a man entered the supermarket branch in the 6300 block of York Road and passed the branch manager a note demanding money and threatening "bodily harm," she said.
