A man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with an incident near Aberdeen late Thursday night that involved shots being fired, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said. Anthony Tyrone Lucas, 28, who has no fixed address, is charged with three counts of first-degree assault, attempted murder, use of a handgun in commission of a felony, reckless endangerment and making a false statement to police, Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said Friday morning.

A 29-year-old Columbia man was arrested in an assault and carjacking incident that occurred at the Arundel Mills Mall late Friday night, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Isaiah Perry, of the 5600 block of High Tor Hill, has been charged with second-degree assault, robbery, carjacking and motor vehicle theft, police said. Perry could not be reached for comment, and did not have an attorney listed in online court records. Police were called to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle, near Medieval Times and Best Buy, about 10 p.m. for a report of a carjacking, police said.

Antwane Dominique Holland, 32, of Macbeth Street in Hyattsville, charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary; theft; resisting arrest; and endangerment due to intoxication.  East Columbia Kerry Hill Court, 7300 block, 9:18 p.m. Jan. 26. Man stole woman's purse and fled.

A bank robbery suspect from South Florida was arrested by FBI agents after a string of approximately 20 heists along the Eastern Seaboard that included the September robbery of a PNC Bank in Catonsville, authorities announced Tuesday. Officials said Luis A. Alomar, 37, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Long Island suburb of Medford, N.Y. He was being held on state and federal charges in connection with the robberies, which began in August. Agents said Alomar used firearms or threatening notes to carry out the crimes.

Baltimore police on Monday arrested a Patterson Park man in connection with a shooting in Ashburton Sunday morning. Dontay Jones, 29, of the 2500 block of Baltimore St., was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree murder and domestic assault, the department announced in a news release. Officers responded to the shooting call in the 3600 block of Liberty Heights Ave. at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, but when they arrived, the woman who was shot had already left for the hospital. She was in stable condition at the hospital on Sunday.

Three luxury cars were stolen from a Glen Burnie auto dealership early Thursday and Anne Arundel County police arrested a suspect they said was driving one of the missing cars nearby just hours later. Police found the KB Auto Emporium at 7603 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. ransacked on Thursday morning, with a window smashed and a safe left open. Three cars -- a 2008 Chrysler 300, a 2006 BMW 750i and a 2007 Mercedes 350 -- were stolen, the owner told police. An unknown number of new vehicle tags were also missing.

A North Laurel man accused of assaulting, imprisoning and threatening to kill a woman in his home was arrested on Main Street in Laurel by Howard County police Thursday afternoon.  Taylor King Pepe, 19, of the 8300 block of Sand Cherry Lane in Laurel, was arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a woman, who police did not identify.  According to the release, police were called around 3:45 a.m. Thursday to Howard County General Hospital,...

Baltimore County police have charged a 20-year-old man with two counts of attempted murder in a double shooting in Pikesville this month. Brandon Leon Hinton, 20, of the 6900 block of Brookmill Road is accused of walking up to a group of people Sept. 7 at a nearby Nadine Drive intersection and opening fire, striking the two men before fleeing on foot. Police were called shortly after 10 p.m. to nearby Blanche Road, where they found one man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

A third Laurel man has been arrested after police continued to investigate a home invasion robbery last week in the Parkview Village mobile home community in Maryland City. Oyedayo A. Olatoye, 20, of  Sudlersville South in Maryland City, was arrested Aug. 30 and charged with armed robbery, burglary, assault and theft, after members of the Western District Detective Unit and Special Operations Division executed a search warrant at his home. According to Anne Arundel County Police, property belonging to the victim was recovered at Olatoye's home.
