Also survived by eight great granchildren, one great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Luella Elizabeth "Lu Beth" Cornell, who had been principal of three Baltimore County elementary schools, died of Alzheimer's disease complications Saturday at Lutherville's Heart Homes. She was 71. Born Luella Elizabeth Bivens in Hagerstown and raised in Hancock, she was a 1953 graduate of Boonsboro High School, where her father was principal. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from what is now Towson University. She began teaching in 1957 in the county public school system and spent her first five years at Villa Cresta Elementary in Parkville.

On Friday, December 26, 2003, MS. JENNIFER RUNDELL LEACH, 40, of Fleetwood, North Carolina, died at Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. She was born February 9, 1963, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to John and Luella Bishop Rundell. Survivors include one son, Austin Sumner Leach, of the home; her father and mother, John and Luella Rundell, of Boone, NC, one sister, Heather Rundell Cameron and husband, Raymond, of Boone; one brother, Ethan Sean Rundell, of Berkeley, California and two nieces, Hannah and Darrow Cameron, both of Boone.

On Saturday, June 24, 2006, LU BETH, 71, entered life everlasting after multiple complications from Alzheimer's, in Lutherville. She was born on March 12, 1935, in Hagerstown, MD, early childhood in Hancock, graduated from Boonsboro High School, where her father was principal, in 1953; graduated with a bachelor's in 1957 from Towson University followed by a M. Ed. in the first Master's class, 1962. Lu Beth taught 30 years in the Baltimore County Public Schools while serving more than a decade as principal at Mars Estates, Shady Spring and Carney elementary schools after three years as the assistant principal at Timonium and Lutherville.
