Sister Mary Raymond Logue, a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame who was a former parochial school principal, died of septic shock Friday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She was 70. Born Elizabeth Carolyn Logue in Baltimore and raised on Montford Avenue, she attended St. Wenceslaus School and was a 1955 graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame, where she was an accomplished basketball player known for her hook shot. She was later inducted into the school's Hall of Fame. She entered the religious congregation in 1956 and received the name Mary Raymond.

Next weekend, the Wayne Logue Memorial Handicap Doubles Tournament will be presented by Joe Rineer at his Mount Airy duckpin center on Center Street.Competition will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and resume at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The duckpin event will conclude Sunday with eight additional squads in 1 1/2 -hour increments.The tournament is in its 12th year and "there will always be a Wayne Logue Memorial tournament," Rineer said.There must be a reason for someone to feel so strongly about another person, so strongly that Rineer has vowed that there will always be a living monument to Wayne Logue's memory.

Charles F. Logue, a bicycle repairman who boasted that he could fix anything but broken hearts, died Saturday of cancer at his home in Parkville. He was 79.Mr. Logue repaired bicycles for more than 50 years at Logue's Sport Shop, his cluttered shop on Monument Street near Milton Avenue in East Baltimore. He closed the business in 1989 and retired. He had lived in Parkville for about five years."He used to say he could fix anything except a broken heart," said a daughter, Carolyn F. Abrams of Pasadena.
