POLICE LOG* Clarksville: 13300 block of Long Leaf Drive: A side garage door of a house under construction was forced open and drywall equipment taken Monday or Tuesday, police said.

A 62-year-old man Mount Airy man was seriously injured after he fell asleep at the wheel of his car while driving on an Interstate 70 ramp to Route 94 in Lisbon shortly before 5 p.m. Friday.The car rolled down an embankment and hit a tree, state police said.Trooper Barry Garver said Carlee Merchant of Old Frederick Road was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where his condition was listed as fair and stable yesterday.
