Booker, Kevin Buckson, Omar Booker and Claude Shell Jr. two great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Family will receive friends at the Ray of Hope Baptist Church, 3000 Parkside Drive, Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. LEOLA (nee Hall), beloved wife of the late Russell Schreiber, loving mother of Wayne Schreiber and his wife Kathy, Gary Schreiber and his wife Cheryl and the late Thomas Schreiber, dear grandmother of Karen, Sandy, Bret and Melissa Schreiber, also survived by 7 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home Inc., 1050 York Rd., (Beltway Exit 26) on Wednesday at 11 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Those desiring to make contributions, in Mrs. Schreiber's memory, may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.

On February 2, 2005, PAULINE LEOLA GARDNER (nee Hines), loving mother of Earl B. Brooks, Donna Gardner Banks; grandmother of Eric Brooks, Adam Brooks, Julian Banks, and Garrett Banks; and great-grandmother of Megan, Devon and Amaya. She is survived by her sisters, Lydia H. Grinage and Mabel Grant Young; daughter-in-law Verdeva Brooks; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 11:30 a.m., at the Forest Park Community Church, 3805 Fairview Avenue, Baltimore, MD, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon.

Leola R. Chase, a former day care provider and homemaker, died of a blood infection Thursday at Northwest Hospital Center. She was 68. She was born Leola Humbert in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved with her family to Baltimore. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1951 and attended Coppin State College. A longtime resident of the 1400 block of Whitelock St., she provided child care in her home until retiring in the 1990s. She had lived since 1995 at Ruxton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pikesville.

Ethel Leola Boyd, 66, active church member Ethel Leola Boyd, an active churchgoer, died Wednesday of heart failure at her Park Heights home. She was 66. Ethel Johnson was born and raised in Baltimore. After she graduated from Frederick Douglass High School, she worked as a housekeeper and child-care provider. Her marriage in 1961 to Walter E. Moorman Sr. ended in divorce. She married Samuel Boyd in the 1980s. Her daughter Donna L. Moorman of Baltimore remembers her mother as a good-spirited woman who was quick to make others laugh.
