On August 25, 2003, MARIE C. LeBRUN retired Analyst with Bethlehem Steel Corporation, beloved wife of Carroll W. LeBrun Sr., devoted mother of Elaine Airey, Jean Ortt, Carroll W. LeBrun Jr., and John Lebrun. Also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral from the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Saturday at 8:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.

Also survived by eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, 2 to 6 P.M.

A berth on the U.S. Curtis Cup team is closer than ever for Maryland native Sarah LeBrun Ingram.LeBrun, 25, continued to pile up Cup points when she captured the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz., yesterday. By unofficial count, the victory could have Sarah ranked as the No. 2 amateur woman golfer in the nation.Already catching the eye of Curtis Cup selectors with a brilliant season of tournament golf, Ingram closed her campaign with a convincing 6 and 5 victory over Martha Lang of Geneva, Ill. in the 18-hole Mid-Am final.

FENWICK ISLAND, Del. - Relaxing in the bays and inland waterways of the Eastern Shore has been an urban escape for Hunt Valley residents Jim and Lynn LeBrun for nearly four decades. For years they owned a mobile home in Delaware's Fenwick Island area, as well as a variety of boats that took them into the Little Assawoman Bay. They crabbed. They fished. They drifted and tanned. They squeezed in a little golf and tennis now and then. Sometime during the late 1980s, while navigating the waterways in a small boat, they spotted a run-down, 1940s-era saltbox cottage on the marshy banks of Dirickson Creek.

A squabble over the purchase of a farm near Glyndon has led to the eviction of an influential Baltimore County land preservation group from its offices, amid accusations by a local real estate agent that the group is guilty of a breach of trust.The Valleys Planning Council was told to vacate its work space of 30 years at 212 Washington Ave. after Henry F. LeBrun, whose wife owns the building, said the group had "lost its credibility" -- a charge based on incidents involving two deals LeBrun was brokering.

On January 3, 2007, MARGARET PEARCE "Peggy" LeBRUN, age 77, devoted daughter of the late George Dewey and Mary Margaret LeBrun, passed away at College Manor in Lutherville. Peggy worked for approximately 40 years at Johns Hopkins, Union Memorial and Sinai Hospitals, before retiring in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Alex, Scott and Jeff Welsh, eight grandchildren, one great grandson and her sister, Eleanor. She was predeceased by her brother LeRoy. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 3 P.M. at the Waugh United Methodist Church, 11453 Long Green Pike, Glen Arm, MD 21057, with refreshments to follow.

Le Brun, of Belair; devoted sister of Eugene Krystek and Lucille Strain, both of Ohio. Also survived by two grandchildren, Kelly Durkin and Rebecca Cook; one step-granddaughter, Jennifer Le Brun. Services will be Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., Easton at 11 A.M. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 A.M. Burial will be private.
