Art exhibit "Living in the Human Soup, paintings and drawings by Mia Halton, will be on view March 8 through June 2 at Tai Sophia Institute's Himmelfarb Gallery, 7750 Montpelier Road in Laurel. A reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 14. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Laurel exhibit "True Life: I'm a Laurel Mill Worker" is on view at the Laurel Museum, 817 Main St. The exhibit explores a different side of Laurel's history as a mill town and the community's early growth.
