On October 4, 2004, HERBERT C. LINTZ JR., beloved husband of Marian M. Lintz (nee Leone); devoted father of Cynthia Reynolds, Ronald Lintz of Largo, FL, and Michelle Fitzsimmons of Oregon; also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue, on Saturday at 10 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Thursday and Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center, 600 N. Wolfe St., Baltimore, MD 21205 or the Stella Maris Hospice at Mercy Hospital, 301 St. Paul St, 21202.

Charles Gantz Crawford, a retired general contractor, died July 5 at Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla., of complications after open-heart surgery. The former Butchers Hill resident was 68. Born in Baltimore and raised on Atwick Road, he was a 1954 Friends School graduate and played on its lacrosse team. He earned a degree at Washington and Lee University, where he also played lacrosse and belonged to the Cadaver Society. He served in the Army. A general contractor, Mr. Crawford renovated many East and Southeast Baltimore rowhouses in the 1970s and 1980s.

LARGO - Becky Zanelotti pitched a complete game as Pallotti captured the Maryland Private Schools softball championship, 5-0, over Archbishop Spalding yesterday at Prince George's Community College. Zanelotti scattered four hits over seven innings and the Panthers scored four runs in the second inning. Spalding's best chance to score came in the first, but the Cavaliers (14-7) failed to drive in a runner after loading the bases with nobody out. The game also marked Linda Taylor's final one as the Cavaliers' coach.

JACQUELINE R. "Jackie" KING, 75 of St. Petersburg, FL, died Monday, April 26, 2004 at Kindred Hospital, St. Petersburg. Born in New Boston, Ohio, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1983 from Baltimore, Maryland. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Poturalski of Baltimore, Maryland and Michele Sweyko of Largo; a brother, Paul Kallas of Dayton, Ohio and four grandchildren. Carroll County firefighters and state police hoisted an extra-large catch out of Liberty Reservoir yesterday morning - a 2002 Ford Taurus reported stolen the night before. Authorities said the vehicle had been reported stolen from a Largo restaurant in Prince George's County on Wednesday night. The gray four-door was found partially submerged in the water near the reservoir's boat dock shortly before 8 a.m. Sykesville firefighters sent their dive team into the water. After determining that there was no one to rescue from the car, a towing service was called to drag it out of the water.

James and Senia Hagy, equipment operator, secretary Services for James Arthur Hagy and Senia Starlene Harry Hagy, a Centreville couple killed last week in a motorcycle accident, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Galena Funeral Home, 118 W. Cross St., Galena. Mr. Hagy, 45, and Mrs. Hagy, 44, were riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when it collided with a pickup truck Friday at Routes 301 and 305 in Queen Anne's County. Mr. Hagy was pronounced dead at the scene, and his wife died after being flown to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
