Self; father of Steven Andrew Self of harmony, MD, Laura Ann Roze (Clinton) of Glen Burnie, MD, Mary Katherine Aaron (Jonathan) of Lanham, MD; brother of Carolyn Cody of Kannapolis, NC, Jill Murph of China Grove, NC, James Self of Concord, NC, Steve Self of Kannapolis, Darrel Self of Naples, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Sarah, Jennifer and Rachel Roze. Friends will be received at the Rendon-Hale Funeral Home, 9013 Annapolis Road, Lanham, MD on Thursday, February 14 from 7 to 9 P.M. where services will be held on Friday at 12:30 P.M. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 815 Bayridge Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403.

Devoted wife of the late Frank Lanham, Sr. She is survived by her beloved children, Bobbie and her husband Charlie Kostos, Deborah Lanham and Ed Ney, Frank and Mindy Lanham; she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Devin Carlson, Kelley and Josh Lanham. Richard A. Lanham Sr., the former head of the state corrections system who quietly took the reins of the Harford County jail in 2004, is stepping down, citing personal reasons. Lanham's departure comes at a critical moment for the county sheriff's office because a number of high-ranking deputies who oversee jail and courthouse operations have stepped down in recent months. Sheriff R. Thomas Golding, who is not seeking to keep his position in the fall election, said he will hold the positions open and allow the new sheriff to select replacements.

Embattled businessman Steven R. Chamberlain has resigned as chief executive officer, director and chairman of the board of Lanham-based satellite system provider Integral Systems Inc. The resignation was made public in a document filed Friday evening with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Discontented shareholders are calling for the company's sale, and Chamberlain faces legal troubles after being indicted in Howard County in February on charges of sexual misconduct involving a 14-year-old girl at his Columbia home.
