Even getting sidelined by a serious illness last year didn't knock the 64-year-old Mount Vernon resident off his "classic" style track, as evidenced by his air of sleek sophistication at a recent party at Baltimore's Ritz-Carlton. The semiretired chief operating officer of Unibec Inc. says he learned years ago, while working for fashion designer Halston, the importance of always looking good.

Loving twin brother of Gerry Langford Wagner. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Old Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, Charles and Saratoga Streets, on Saturday, July 30, 2005, at 10 A.M. A Reception will be held immediately following the service at St. Paul's School Mansion.

Nell B. Langford, a former art teacher, portraitist and genealogist, died Tuesday of cancer at Holly Hill Manor in Stoneleigh. She was 91.Mrs. Langford, a longtime Rodgers Forge resident, began teaching art in the late 1940s at Notre Dame Preparatory School and later taught at Forest Park High School. She retired in the mid-1960s.Working from a converted garage-studio at her home, Mrs. Langford painted oil portraits and landscapes of Baltimore and Maryland scenes.Another lifelong avocation was genealogy.

A Bel Air developer and one of his companies have been charged with allowing soil at a development site to foul a stream, marking the second time the state has used sediment pollution law to crack down on alleged violators.Thomas J. Langford and his company, Phoenix Enterprises, were each charged last month with 18 counts of violating thelaw, following a year-long investigation by the state attorney general's environmental crimes unit."In these kinds of cases, you kind of hope people will turn around and do what is expected," Assistant Attorney General Howard P. NEW ORLEANS - The Marquette Golden Eagles probably figured by containing seniors Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich, they stood a decent chance of playing in tomorrow night's NCAA championship game. Dr. Langford Kidd, a retired director of pediatric cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and School of Medicine who studied infants with heart disease and the effects of high blood pressure on adolescents, died of a heart attack Tuesday at his Roland Park home. He was 74. "He was a master educator," said Dr. Edward B. Clark, chairman of the department of pediatrics at the University of Utah, who studied under Dr. Kidd. "He was able to capture the attention of students and hold it while he transmitted complex concepts.
