On Saturday, February 4, 2006, ALVERTA J. (nee Cramblitt) wife of the late John H. Lambdin, devoted mother of Gloria L. Charlton and her husband Dr. John L. Charlton, the late John F. Lambdin and his wife Peggy Lambdin, loving grandmother of John Scott Lambdin, Brenda Hitchcock, Dr. John L. Charlton III, Karen Colhauer and the late Dean P. Charlton. Also survived by five great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P. M at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A., 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena where funeral services will be held on Wednesday 12 noon.

Frances A. Lambdin, a homemaker and longtime Reisterstown resident, died of a stroke Saturday at Northwest Hospital Center. She was 87. She was born Frances Turner in Baltimore and raised in Lansdale, Pa. After graduating from Norristown High School, she worked briefly in a five-and-dime store. In 1956, she married Joseph F. Lambdin, a clerk for the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn. He died in 1998. Mrs. Lambdin, a Reisterstown resident for 42 years, enjoyed sewing and playing pinochle.
