On January 25, 2006 JAMES "JIMMY" ARTHUR of Westminster, beloved son of Stephan "Barry" Klohr and Eugenia "Genie" Marie Klohr (nee Rathell), grandson of Mary Klohr, Walter and Terry Klohr and the late Arthur L. Jr. and Eugenia Maria Rathell, great-grandson of Mamie Klohr, nephew of Arthur L. and Nancy Rathell and Roger Klohr and fiance Jessica Bogart. Also survived by six cousins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday 2 PM at St. Benjamin's (Krider's) Lutheran Church in Westminster. Interment in Krider's Cemetery.

On July 23, 2008, BENJAMIN ALDEN, 20, of Westminster, beloved son of Toni and Jay Sochrin, brother of Jason and Katie Sochrin, grandson of Verna and Robert Hirschmann and the late Myra and Leon Sochrin, predeceased by aunt and Godmother; Paula Assero Sochrin. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A celebration of life service will be held for family and friends on Monday July 28, 2008, at 10 AM at St. Benjamin's (Krider's) Lutheran Church, 700 Krider's Cemetery Road, Westminster, MD. Interment in Krider's Cemetery.

Also survived by ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, on Sunday at 3 P.M. Interment in Sandymount Cemetery, Finksburg. the family will received friends Saturday 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. and Sunday 2 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.

Fed up with Adelphia Cable's inability to improve its customer service, Carroll County's cable commission will begin fining the company this month. Adelphia has been Carroll's dominant cable provider since last year, when it bought the county franchise from Prestige Cable. Carroll is the only county in the Baltimore area that doesn't have a contract with Comcast Cable. County residents faced technical and customer-service problems with Prestige, local officials said, but they expected better from Adelphia, one of the nation's largest cable providers.
