Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will all battle in a Fatal 4-Way for the gold at the Over The Limit pay-per-view. On Smackdown, a tag match between Orton/Sheamus and Jericho/Del Rio disintegrated into singles matchups later in the night - Orton defeated Del Rio by disqualification and Sheamus and Jericho got interrupted by Del Rio. The show had these four as a focal point as a push for the upcoming pay-per-view. I personally wasn't thoroughly entertained by their interaction on Smackdown.

On Monday's Raw, Daniel Bryan earned the right to face WWE Champion CM Punk at Over the Limit. On tonight's Smackdown, Bryan lost to World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. Bryan has now lost to Sheamus in three consecutive singles title matches -- WrestleMania, Extreme Rules and Smackdown. That doesn't seem like the way to build a challenger for the company's top prize. Bryan and Punk have proven on multiple occasions they're capable of stealing any show, and that mindset will surely carry over to Over the Limit, when they'll focus on the story they're telling in the ring rather than the one playing out outside of it. But even so, in the eyes of the general viewing public, what chance does Bryan stand against Punk?

John Cena put away Brock Lesnar at Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, but now he must fight the hired gun's boss himself next month. In the closing scene of Raw, General Manager John Laurinaitis threw Cena a curveball. Laurinaitis told Cena his opponent for Over the Limit would be announced at the end of the show. But while Lord Tensai and his henchman surrounded Cena, Laurinaitis clubbed Cena from behind and announced that he would face the WWE's top superstar at the pay-per-view himself.

I would like nothing more than for Brock Lesnar to score a convincing and emphatic win over John Cena at Extreme Rules. Ridiculous match name aside (really, what's the difference between an Extreme Rules match, a no-DQ, no-countout match, a Chicago Street Fight, a No-Holds Barred Match and a match where “anything goes” other than the name?), Lesnar scoring a clean win at the upcoming pay-per-view has multiple benefits. For one, it solidifies Lesnar as a killer, the anti-superstar that fights and wins.

WrestleMania has grown to be more than just a pay-per-view. For years, the event has been the biggest of the year for not only WWE, but the world of professional wrestling. No event could come close to matching the magnitude of this spectacle. But, as the years have gone on, WrestleMania has become more than one show. It's become a week-long celebration of all things professional wrestling. Throughout this week, WWE superstars and officials have participated in a number of events, many of them supporting charity.

With WrestleMania right around the corner, fans are voicing their thoughts and predictions to their friends and to the world through social media. Ring Post bloggers Arda Ocal and Adam Testa have taken the time to share their thoughts on the winners and losers of this year's card. The duo agree on most of the undercard, but when it comes to three of the four main events, their predictions differ. Take a look at what they had to say in our match-by-match prediction breakdown: Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Eve Arda: Unfortunately I'm not looking forward to this match, which is a shame because I'm really looking forward to what can come from the Divas division in the next few months.

WWE has begun developing a WrestleMania feud that no one had speculated. With less than seven weeks until the "Showcase of the Immortals," WWE has planted seeds for a rivalry between John Laurinaitis and Teddy Long, the general managers of Raw and Smackdown, respectively. The two men agree on the issue at hand: That power within WWE should be consolidated, and one sheriff should preside over both shows. But, of course, each man believes he is the right one for the job. As the story advances, it's likely fans will be treated to a number of challenge matches and segments organized by the two, and that started on Monday's Raw. Two matches on the show fit the mold that will inevitably expand in the coming weeks.

Fans had many expectations heading into Sunday night's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, fueled largely by Internet speculation. Rumors had been running rampant of returning superstars, changes to the world title matches and the addition of undercard bouts to round out a four-match card. In the end, some of the expectations proved true while others ultimately failed to materialize. Two injured superstars returned from injury -- albeit in an in-ring segment rather than matches -- while Santino Marella proved doubters wrong and Jack Swagger defended his United States Championship for the first time on pay-per-view.

Nostalgia can be a double-edged sword. There's a time and a place for the past in professional wrestling. The "nostalgia pop" garnered by superstars like "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and "Road Dogg" Jesse James during the Royal Rumble are one example. The return of Shawn Michaels to Raw this Monday is another. Michaels and Triple H had the crowd eating out of their hands during a segment on the show, in which Michaels pleaded with Triple H to accept the Undertaker's challenge for a rematch at WrestleMania.

Star power. WWE fans have thrown those two words around a lot lately, mostly in the context of its absence from the current roster. One needs to look no further than the two world title bouts announced this week for the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay-per-view to see where these complaints originate and develop. On Monday night's Raw, it was announced that CM Punk would defend his WWE Championship against Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston. Smackdown's match, which pits World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan against Big Show, Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and the Great Khali, was announced on Friday night's show.
