Smith and his wife, Mary Dale Smith. Dear grandmother of Daniel and Bradford Smith. Friends may call at the family owned MITCHELL-WIEDEFELD FUNERAL HOME, INC., on Wednesday, October 31st from 9:30 A.M. to 11 A. M. at which time a Funeral Service will be held. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lutherville.

Howard M. "Smitty" Smith, who had owned and operated a Baltimore County horse transportation business, died July 31 of heart failure at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Fla. He was 83. The son of Howard Smith, a factory worker, and Katherine Smith, a homemaker, Howard Milton Smith was born in Baltimore and raised in a mill house on Ash Street in Hampden. He attended city public and vocational schools and went to work in 1950 as a mover for Hampden Moving and Storage Co. on Falls Road.

The wedding took place on September 30, 2006 at The Baltimore Museum Of Industry. After their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Oxford Pennsylvania.
