On October 18, 2008, CHARLOTTE YORKSHIRE KANE, 98 of Catonsville, passed away at St. Joseph Nursing Home. She was born in Baltimore, MD to Eddie and Bertha Yorkshire. She was preceded in death by her husbands Carroll Kane and Joe Kane, and sister Ethel Yorkshire Bressler. Mass will be held Thursday, November 13, at 9 A.M. at St. Joseph Nursing Home. On Wednesday, January 26, 2005, DORIS MAE "Haddaway" KANE, of Millersville; cherished wife of the late Frank Kane; survived by her children Carol Hare, Janet Bennett, Kathy Butler, John Hammell, Karen Costello and Kevin Kane. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Singleton Funeral Home, P.A., 1 Second Avenue S.W. Kane (nee Mierzwinski); devoted father of Mark Kane and his wife Jessica and Carolyn Daley and her husband CJ; loving grandfather of Nicholas, Allison and Holly Daley and Jessica Kane; dear brother of George and Jim Kane and the late Marguerite Kane. A Vigil Service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26A), on Sunday at 3:30 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John's Long Green Church, Hydes, MD, on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

THOMAS WARREN KANE, 78, of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, passed away October 8, 2005, at his home at Mallory House in Idaho Falls, ID. He was born November 11, 1926, in Wilkes Barre, PA, to John Edwin Kane and Mary A. Phillip Kane. He grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Myers High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was married to the former Nancy Harris and they later divorced. He lived in Baltimore, Maryland, for 50 years and worked as an Engineer for B&O Railroad until his retirement.

On October 28, 2005, MARIE A.S. KANE (nee Schussler), beloved wife of James L. Kane of Baltimore; devoted mother of William H. Schwab and his wife Meta of Winchester, MA and Elaine M. Hubbard of Baltimore; cherished grandmother of Leah Corcoran, Graham Hubbard, Jennifer Hubbard and Palen Schwab; loving great grandmother of Evan Hubbard; dear step-mother of Cathie Capella, Donna Myers and Leslie Ross; step-grandmother of five. Mrs. Kane was the widow of the late Herbert Schwab and third of eight siblings, all deceased.

On August 20, 2004, VIRGINIA LEE KANE, beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Kane, Sr.; loving mother of Judge Raymond J. Kane, Jr., Patricia A. Hauf, and Margaret V. St. Jean. Also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. Beloved sister of Bernard F. Goldberg. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Monday at St. Joseph's Nursing in the chapel at 9:30 A.M. Interment will follow at New Cathedral Cemetery.

On March 23, 2008, JOHN JAMES KANE SR., beloved husband of Lucy H. Kane; devoted father of Janet D. Watson, Lucy H. Hearn, John J. Kane, Jr., Jean L. Miskimon and Kelly A. Hoyle. Also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. A Catholic Burial Service will be held at the family owned Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk, Inc., 7922 Wise Avenue on Friday, at 9 A.M. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Garrison Forest. Friends may call on Thursday from 7-9 P.M. In honor of his wife, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Baltimore Central Maryland Chapter, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.

On March 15, 2006, MEREDITH KANE, beloved mother of Dorothy Elizabeth Young. Loving daughter of John Meredith Bond and Agness Fulton Bond. Dear sister of William Whitfield Bond, Richard Fulton Bond and Mary Elizabeth Cockey. Devoted grandmother of Michael Richardson and Taylor and Trinity Young. Also leaves son-in-law Robert Lee Young, sister-in-law Barbara Bond and brother-in-law J. Logan Cockey. Memorial service at St. David's Church, 4700 Roland Ave., Baltimore at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24.
