Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Friends and family may call at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home P.A., 421 Crain Hwy. S.E. Glen Burnie, MD, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at Crownsville Maryland Veterans Cemetery.

Ford; devoted grandmother of seven; dear great-grandmother of thirteen and caring great-great grandmother of four. The family will receive visitors at the Augsburg Lutheran Home, 6811 Campfield Rd., Baltimore MD 21207 from 10 to 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 28. A Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 11 A.M. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.

When Fred Kaiss did not get the head coaching job at newly opened North County this season, he was about to leave the state in pursuit of his coaching goals.Members of Southwestern's football team probably are glad he stayed.Kaiss, an assistant coach last year at Andover and four years at Brooklyn Park before the two schools merged to form North County, became Southwestern's third coach in as many years this season. And under Kaiss, the Sabers have become a contender in the Maryland Scholastic Association A Conference (2-2 overall, 2-1 in the league)

A 34-year-old former county school teacher pleaded guilty to assault yesterday for accosting and making sexual advances toward a student at a Severn technical school last fall.Frederick Kaiss Jr., formerly of Centennial Circle in Ferndale, pleaded guilty to assault and battery in connection with an incident involving a 16-year-old girl at the Center for Applied Technology North on Sept. 10, 1992.Assistant State's Attorney Kathleen Rogers said the girl had been required to stay after school to take a makeup test.

A 33-year-old former schoolteacher was sentenced to five years' probation, fined $250 and ordered to resign yesterday for accosting and making sexual advances to a student at a Severn technical school last fall.Frederick Kaiss Jr., formerly of Centennial Circle in Ferndale, pleaded guilty March 23 to assault and battery in an incident involving a 16-year-old girl at the Center for Applied Technology North on Sept. 10, 1992.Anne Arundel Circuit Judge Raymond G. Thieme Jr. ordered that the first three years of the sentence be supervised probation.

"So, I would say by about Wednesday or Thursday of next week, we should make the announcement."

A 33-year-old Glen Burnie school teacher was indicted yesterday on child sexual abuse charges for allegedly fondling a student at the school.Frederick V. Kaiss Jr. of Centennial Circle in Ferndale was indicted by a county grand jury in an alleged incident involving a 16-year-old student at the Center for Applied Technology in Severn.State's Attorney Frank R. Weathersbee said Mr. Kaiss was indicted for sexual child abuse, fourth-degree sex offenses and battery stemming from a Sept. 10 incident where he allegedly fondled a 16-year-old student "through her clothes."
