Reward offered in theft of bicycles from trailerHarford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for the arrest and indictment of someone responsible for breaking into a storage trailer behind PJ's Ski and Sport between 10 p.m. Nov. 26 and 9:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Festival in Bel Air.More than $6,000 worth of bicycles, still unassembled and in shipping boxes, were stolen.Witnesses said two men were selling similarly packaged bicycles at the Patapsco flea market Nov. 27 and 28.One man is described as white, in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and stocky with blond hair.

The chief lobbyist for Maryland's boating industry has left his post after 14 years to work as the director of state government relations for Chicago-based National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).Mick Blackistone, who served as executive director of the Marine Trades Association of Maryland, is taking over a post in which he is to monitor proposed legislation, regulations and taxes that affect boat manufacturers in 15 key boating states in his new job."I have worked closely with the NMMA for over a decade," Mr. Blackistone said in an interview.

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Baltimore City Southern District Assault/arrest: A man was walking in the 500 block of Cambria St. about 4 a.m. Sunday when another man struck him with an unknown weapon while accusing him of owing money. Arrested by Officer Steven Bradshaw was Mark Gibbs, 19, of the 2600 block of Lauretta Ave., who was charged with aggravated assault. Theft: A former part-time worker at the Fast Money pawn shop in the 3500 block of S. Hanover St. allegedly stole nine packs of saw blades, three DVD movies and 62 boxes of dental care products - all valued at $893 - while emptying the trash last week.

County police arrested a second man Thursday in connection with a series of indecent-exposure incidents along the Baltimore-Annapolis Trail, just one day after they took another suspect into custody, authorities said.Officer Eric Snair of the Eastern District answered a call about a man running nude on the bike trail about 6 p.m. He drove his car onto the trail and went north until he was almost behind the Horizons, an office building in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway, where he saw an unclothed man hiding behind bushes across from the building.

A 3-year-old boy drowned yesterday in a pool at his home in Dundalk while friends and relatives were having a party, Baltimore County police said.Austin Mullins, who lived on the 8000 block of N. Boundary Road, was pronounced dead at the scene.Police said a group had gathered at the house, and that the child wandered away and climbed into an above-ground pool in the back yard.Police said no charges have been filed and that their investigation is continuing.In other water-related incidents yesterday, a woman was killed in a personal-watercraft accident in Ocean City, and a 20-year-old man was injured in a motorboat accident in Anne Arundel County.
