It's so hard ... to say goodbye ... to Jersey Shore (I hope you slowly sang that in your head just like I did!). But hey -- at least we have another season before we have to come to term with our emotions. I was very excited when I found out that the premiere would be a double-header. It was so great to see all the cast members back in action times two, however I must say, it did lack the usual amount of drama. I know, I know -- they just reunited and it's too early for people to be throwing wine bottles or each other's belongings outside, but the cast overall definitely seemed more mature.

We have finally come to the end of the journey that has taken us to Miami, Florence and most important, Seaside Heights. Tonight is the "Jersey Shore" finale -- more than likely the last episode ever. I wish I had a little more enthusiasm for the end of the show, but I was disappointed that this summer at the shore house lacked excitement and drama. Let's see if the finale left a good taste in my mouth. The camp crew returns to the house to find out that Vinny and Pauly have rearranged the entire house . Mike, of course, whines like a baby because his Ed Hardy T-shirt collection was mishandled.

Here we are at the fifth episode: Still waiting on a physical altercation between the roommates, and hoping for some sort of monumental event that will bring us back next week. I think the producers took a different route and decided to tempt us as if this were a horror movie. Full of gore and general disgust: Vinny has returned to Ocean Terrace! If another week had gone by, I think Pauly would have been the next one removed from the Shore Store's payroll. The kiddos celebrate Vinny's return by partying at Karma, as per usual.
