Two teenage brothers were killed yesterday afternoon less than a mile from their Federalsburg home on the Eastern Shore when an all-terrain vehicle they were riding crashed into a tree, state police reported. Jeremy Shalaby, 14, was driving about 4 p.m. with his 16-year-old brother, Joshua, as a passenger, and traveling between 30 mph and 40 mph when he lost control of the 2003 Suzuki Quad, which ran off Ischer Road, said state police Sgt. Charles Anderson. Anderson said another boy riding behind the brothers witnessed the crash and drove to the boys' home on Pepper Road to alert their father.
