WASHINGTON -- The Orioles provided starter Garrett Olson with a comfortable lead last night. To qualify for the win, he needed only to make it through five innings without his left arm falling off. Olson struggled again to keep his pitch count at a manageable total, inflating it to 99 through the fifth. But he held the Washington Nationals to one run, and Luke Scott and Ramon Hernandez homered for the Orioles, who evened the series with a 9-1 win before an announced 39,479, the largest crowd in the brief history of Nationals Park.

Fri Blue Jays, 7:05 p.m., MASN2 Starters: Blue Jays' Scott Richmond (0-3, 5.14) vs. Chris Waters (3-4, 5.06) After a day off, Waters will make his final start of the season and second against Toronto.
