Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers Time: : 7 TV: : ESPN The buzz: : The schedule makers gave fans several juicy intradivision games in Week 1, but they could not have imagined the extra intrigue as a result of the Brett Favre story. The matchup between the Vikings and the Packers in Green Bay did not need Favre or tampering accusations to be a marquee game. Minnesota is a popular pick to win the NFC North crown from archrival Green Bay, and the teams are dealing with many of the same issues.

Blowout blues If the Rams get blown out in Seattle today, coach Scott Linehan might not make it to Week 4. The Rams have been outscored 79-16 and rank last in the NFL in offense and defense. They've lost six in a row and 15 of their past 18 games. What's more, they haven't run an offensive play in the red zone this season. And last week, new owner Chip Rosenbloom promised changes if things don't improve soon. Mixed identity Coach Eric Mangini wanted the Jets to become a running team this season but then skewed the plan by trading for Brett Favre.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Jay Cutler threw three touchdown passes to guide the Bears to a stunning 27-20 victory over the Cowboys on Sunday, the second straight loss for the highly touted hosts. Cutler was 21 of 29 for 277 yards and outdueled Tony Romo (34 of 51, 374 yards, TD), who threw two interceptions. Dallas also lost the ball on a fourth-quarter fumble and fell to 0-2 for the first time in nine years. "Any time you get in this position it's very difficult," Romo said.

Bears TE Greg Olsen vs. Ravens safeties Dawan Landry and Tom Zbikowski Olsen, a third-year player, has 463 yards on 51 completions. He is Jay Cutler's primary target in the middle of the field. Either Landry or Zbikowski will be responsible for the deep third of the field, but the other can't allow Olsen to roam the middle on short- to mid-range routes. Edge: Olsen Bears CB Charles Tillman vs. Ravens WR Derrick Mason Tillman usually plays the left side in the Cover 2 scheme, but the Bears have been lining him up against the top receiver when necessary.

The Ravens appear headed for another absence by a first-round pick. Talks between the Ravens and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata have reached a stalemate, a league source said yesterday. The Ravens, who report to training camp today, haven't signed a first-round pick on time since 2001. Negotiations were expected to pick up this week after the Cleveland Browns signed linebacker Kamerion Wimbley, who was selected one pick after Ngata (the 12th overall selection). But Wimbley's deal might have hurt talks.

Several NFL teams have their lost starting quarterbacks to injury this season -- including playoff hopefuls in Chicago (Jay Cutler) and Houston (Matt Schaub) who have cast their lots to unproven backups. Winless Indianapolis hasn't had theirs (Peyton Manning) at all in 2011. Durabilility has been one of the biggest reasons why Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has piled up a 41 wins in his four seasons in the league. Flacco -- knock on wood -- has never missed a start. On Monday, Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked hypothetically about injured quarterbacks, and whether he feels that Tyrod Taylor is prepared should Flacco go down, too. “We would like to think the guy we have is capable of winning games for us, no doubt about it,” Harbaugh said of Taylor, a sixth-round pick in April's NFL draft.

Welcome back everyone! Last week's episode of "New Girl" got bumped because some old dudes wanted to yell at each other, which is kind of fitting with tonight's episode. This week's episode, as always, brought the funny, but had a lot of filler. Hey, I know this isn't "The Wire," but there was nothing in the episode to further the season. Anyway, with that let's break this thing down this simply silly episode. CeCe & Jess: Boobgate 2012 The episode begins with Jess going to CeCe's for their annual birthday ritual of cake, "Clueless" on VHS, and towel prom dresses.
