On November 5, 2006, BETTY JEAN MICK (nee Barnett), of Jarrettsville, MD; beloved wife of Charles E. Mick, Sr.; devoted mother of Charles E. Mick, Jr., William C. Mick, Connie L. Evans and her husband Ed and a daughter -in-law Diane Mick; loving sister of Dale Barnett. Also survived by seven grandchildren. A service will be held in North Harford Baptist Church, Jarrettsville, MD on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 11 A.M. Interment will be in Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD. January 3, 2003
George W. Tittle, a mortician and retired employment counselor, died of a heart attack Monday at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. He was 69. Mr. Tittle, who was born and raised in Jarrettsville, graduated in 1953 from the former Central Consolidated High School in Hickory. He was a 1955 graduate of Echols College of Mortuary Science in Philadelphia, and established Tittle's Funeral Service in Bel Air in 1965. After closing the funeral establishment in the early 1980s, he continued working as a mortician and was associated with the Joseph N. Zannino Jr. Funeral Home in Baltimore.

On April 22, 2005, ROY of Jarrettsville, MD, husband of the late Anna Hiti Van Aken, father of Barbara Anne Ryan and Gerald Neil Van Aken and brother of Jake Van Aken.
