Holding onto the ball can be a difficult task against the Loyola's women's lacrosse team. The No. 5 Greyhounds lead Division I in caused turnovers, averaging 13.5, and they forced 14 against No. 9 James Madison to fuel an 11-7 victory Saturday at Loyola's Ridley Athletic Complex. "That was the difference in the game," James Madison coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe said. "When we had the opportunity to shoot, we scored, but turnovers allowed Loyola to have the ball on the offensive end for too long.

"I'm pleased that Billy will have the opportunity to get on the field quickly in a program that features the passing game," Kansas State coach Bill Snyder said in a news release. "Billy is obviously a dear friend and a great young man. He loved Manhattan and our program and players but simply felt by transferring he could gain more immediate playing time.

Jerry Lee Lewis wrote the bumper song for this week's poll: "Whole lot of shake-up going on. South Carolina, up 10 spots to No.14, suddenly looks like the team Alabama should fear most. Mike Stoops wants to know why Arizona isn't on the leaderboard, which won't be an issue Saturday if his Wildcats upset Iowa. (Ranking last week) 1. Boise State 1-0 (1)
