Mr. and Mrs. Ron Garling of Bel Air are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter, Hope, to William David Insley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Phillips of Virginia Beach and of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Insley of Lake Worth, Florida. Hope is also the daughter of the late Elaine Zern Garling Staley and granddaughter of Miriam Kennedy of Glen Arm. The ceremony was performed on April 15 on-board the Carnival Liberty in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After a cruise to Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama, the couple is residing in West Palm Beach.

Billie Insley sits in a red leatherette chair at Your Shoe Service in Linthicum, smoking a Wave cigarette and facing a stack of stuff packed for moving or disposal: sheets of leather, boxes of fresh heels and soles, some bearing the red-and-black label of the old Cat's Paw Rubber Co. His life's work is nearly done. In a matter of days, they'll take out the last of the heavy stitching, sanding and polishing machines that have been here as long as he has, since Dwight D. Eisenhower was president and the Baltimore Orioles were the newest thing in the American League.

On September 15, 2005, ROBIN INSLEY VOITH, age 49, succumbed to cancer after a 6 year struggle. A former Parkville-Carney resident and dance instructor at her family's business "Anita's Dance Studio" 8908 Harford Road, now operated by her sister Debbie. Robin graduated from Parkville H.S. in 1974 and Goucher College in 1978 with distinction and a double degree in Computer Science and Math, with a minor in Dance. She was a member of "Dance Masters of America." Robin lived in Coral Gables, Florida, the past five years with her husband Jack and her two sons.

On December 2, 2005 BETTY JANE (nee Rankin); beloved wife of the late Donald Insley; devoted mother of Kelly Everhart, Dianna Garrison and Dawn Mellett; devoted sister of Joyce Lysakowski. Also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at the Abbott Memorial Presbyterian Church, Highland Ave. & Bank St., on Thursday at 1 P.M.
