But, in the case of our March 21 cover, we asked for it."Why Husbands Dread Sundays," written by University of Connecticut professor Regina Barreca, suggested Sundays are torment for some husbands, who long for escape. Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years," which marks the 40th anniversary of her reign as first lady and focuses on her influence on fashion and style, opened recently at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston. The exhibit includes 80 original outfits and accessories worn by Kennedy. Among the highlights are the fawn coat and pillbox hat she wore to her husband's inauguration in 1961, and the cream-colored satin gown she wore to a pre-inaugural gala. The museum has expanded its hours to accommodate visitors: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.

The correct number is 410-853-3020.The Sun regrets the errors.TOWSON -- The county's social services volunteer office is seeking donations of cash, school supplies and clothing for children from poor families who need help getting off to a good start in the new school year.Notebooks, paper, dividers, crayons and other items are needed for children whose parents cannot afford them, according to Deborah Ward, who said last year's effort supplied 1,000 children.
