On January 20, 2005, IMOGENE (Gene) GERST, beloved wife of the late Andrew M. Gerst, devoted mother of Charles Watkin, John Watkin and Anthony Gerst. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Charles Harrison. Also survived by numerous other loving relatives. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc, 9705 Belair Road (Perry Hall), on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 A.M. at the funeral home.

Imogene B. Johnston, long active in Harford County Republican Party politics and a community activist, died Oct. 26 at Senator Bob Hooper Hospice in Forest Hill of complications from a fall. She was 89. A daughter of a coal-mine supervisor and a homemaker, the former Imogene Rollins Bane was born and raised in Beckley, W.Va. She was a 1940 graduate of Mark Twain High School in Crab Orchard, W.Va. While attending West Virginia University where she earned a degree in business, she met and fell in love with Drexel M. Johnston.

The British electro-pop artist had two albums by then - one under her name and one with a collaboration called Frou Frou - and her record companies had muzzled both of them. "Our side of the deal is give a great record and be available for promotion," Heap said. "Their side of the deal is to do something with it and spend money and put their money where their mouth is. And they didn't do that. Twice. In a row. With two different labels.

IMOGENE "Gene" BOULE, 81, on December 19, 2005, at her home, surrounded by her family as she had wished. A native of Baltimore, Imogene Malcolm was a member of the Paint and Powder Club and the Vagabond Theatre. Married during WWII to Air Corp Pilot Gerald A. Boule of Newport, RI, they returned to Baltimore at the end of his military service, then moved to Columbia, MD when Gerald became employed by the Rouse Company in 1969. She retired from Social Security Administration, Woodlawn as a Program Policy Specialist.
