The Archdiocese of Baltimore has launched its own investigation into a Towson priest arrested this month on charges of indecent exposure at an adult store. Mark Stewart Bullock, 47, is scheduled for a March 6 court appearance in District Court in Harford County on misdemeanor charges that carry a maximum fine of $1,000 and three years in prison. Church officials have removed "all his faculties to function as a priest," said Sean Caine, archdiocese spokesman. "The archdiocese is doing its own investigation and will be speaking to anyone who might help us understand what is happening in his life," Caine said.

Gilbert Ambrose Brungardt, a retired professor of music who had been chairman of the music department and later dean of Towson University's College of Fine Arts and Communication, died Wednesday of cancer at Stella Maris Hospice in Timonium. He was 80. Dr. Brungardt, the son of cattle and wheat farmers, was born and raised on the plains of Western Kansas near Victoria. He was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph's Seminary in Rensselaer, Ind. He earned a bachelor's degree in 1952 in music education from Fort Hays State College in Hays, Kan., and had served with the National Guard in the early 1950s.

Hannah Messina and Cristina Mastellone always assumed they would walk across the same stage to pick up their high school diplomas. After all, the close friends have been classmates since preschool. But six weeks from the start of their senior year, the sudden closing of Towson Catholic High School has ripped their certain plan to bits. "I am not supposed to be crying now," said Mastellone. "I am supposed to be crying at my graduation next year." "I should be looking at colleges, not other high schools," said Messina, wearing her white school polo shirt and blue uniform skirt.

BERNICE S. (nee Stang) WHITE, 93, formerly of Towson, MD, passed away on June 23, 2009 in Bethlehem, PA. Born on November 20, 1915. Daughter of the late Bernard F., and Catherine Murray Stang. Her husband Andrew T., and son J. Drumond White predeceased her. She is survived by her brothers, William J.
