As of 9 a.m. Monday, traffic was slow on the outer loop of I-695 near I-83 in Baltimore County, due to an accident. Accidents were slowing traffic on U.S. 50 westbound at the Bay Bridge, Caroline Street at Monument Street in Baltimore City, and Falls Road and 41st Street in Baltimore City. Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted. There are no major delays reported on area transit systems.

Baltimore police have reopened I-83 in both directions after closing it following two separate crashes Sunday morning. The interstate was shut down between Falls Road and Cold Spring Lane, said police spokesman Detective Jeremy Silbert. The interstate was closed for nearly two hours before it reopened around noon. The Mayor's Office of Emergency Management said in a message sent out on Twitter that traffic was "severe" on Greenspring Avenue and Falls Road as a result. As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on I-83 southbound near Ruxton Road in Baltimore County due to an accident. Accidents were slowing traffic on U.S. 50 eastbound near Cape St. Claire Road in Anne Arundel County, Patterson Avenue at Liberty Road in Baltimore County, Ritchie Highway near McKinsey Road in Anne Arundel County, and 39th Street and Greenway in Baltimore City. North Charles Street was closed between North Avenue and West 21st Street in Baltimore City due to water main repairs.

A deer darting across I-83 near Old York Road early Thursday caused a chain reaction crash that involved three tractor-trailers and halted traffic on the highway throughout the morning rush hour. All lanes were reopened by 9 a.m., according to Maryland State Police. The driver of a northbound tractor-trailer swerved to avoid the deer at about 3:30 a.m. He lost control of the semi rig, destroyed the guardrail and went through the median into the southbound lanes. There, he hit another tractor-trailer head-on.

As of 8:30 a.m. Thursday, I-83 was closed at Old York Road near the Maryland-Pennsylvania line, due to clean-up from a 3:30 a.m. head-on accident involving three tractor trailer trucks. Officials are advising motorists to use southbound York Road as an alternate route. Accidents were slowing traffic on Troyer Road at Old York Road in Baltimore County, Liberty Heights Road and Rogers Avenue in Baltimore City, Route 40 and Route 70 in Howard County, Jennifer Road and Medical Parkway in Anne Arundel County, Graystone Road near Wiseburg Road in Baltimore County, the outer loop of I-695 near Security Boulevard in Baltimore County, Route 295 southbound near Route 100 in Anne Arundel County, U.S. 50 eastbound near Cape St. Claire Road in Anne Arundel County, and Guilford Road and Brock Bridge Road in Howard County.

Maryland State Police are looking for three men who kidnapped a man in Cockeysville, crashed his 2011 Nissan Frontier on Interstate 83 at the Padonia Road exit and fled the scene. The victim was found unharmed on Thursday around midnight after one of the suspect's crashed the truck on the southbound ramp for Padonia Road in Timonium, police said. The three suspects allegedly approached the victim outside an establishment in the 10000 block of York Road when the men forced their way into the victim's truck and directed him to drive north.
