On April 17, 2004, Mrs. JANIE I. HUNT; loving mother of Roland Hunt. She is also survived by two sisters, Marian Turner and Florine Washington; one brother, Paul Yarbrough; two daughters-in-law, Jean and Eleanor Hunt; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. On Thursday, friends may call at the VAUGHN C. GREENE Funeral Services (EAST), 4905 York Road, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 8 P.M. On Friday, Mrs. Hunt will lie in state at Faith Baptist Church, 833 N. Bond Street, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 A.M., with services to follow.

"CHARLIE" HUNT, D.D.S., beloved son of the late Elizabeth Hunt-Thomas-Hammarstrom and the late Charles Hunt; cousin of Rita Lazarus, of Long Island, NY; devoted friend of Charlie and Betty German, Terry Roccio, Ashley and David Roccio, and the late David German; dear friend and co-worker of Jo Anne Yoho. On February 24, 2005, CLARENCE E. HUNT, JR.; beloved husband of Maria L. Hunt (nee Breschi); dear brother of Charles A. Hunt and his wife Cynthia and Rosanne Patchak and her husband Richard H. and the late John T. Hunt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Vigil Service will be held at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26A), on Friday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Nativity, 20 E. Ridgely Road, on Saturday at 10 A.M. Internment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

Nicola, Mary Pat Hulteng, Julie F. Hetherington, Amy C. King, Maura E. Lyons; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother of Pat Rowe, John W. Hunt, Rev. Larry J. Hunt, SJ, Richard J. Gov. Parris N. Glendening announced yesterday he was rejecting condemned killer Flint Gregory Hunt's second petition for clemency -- one day after it was submitted.Lawyers for Hunt, who is scheduled to die in the state's gas chamber next week for the 1985 killing of Baltimore police Officer Vincent J. Adolfo, submitted a 28-page petition Monday on their client's behalf. They argued that the governor should consider that jurors in Hunt's case were not given the option of sentencing him to life without parole, and that a task force has recommended studying in detail whether racial disparities exist in the application of capital punishment in Maryland.

On March 13, 2007, KATHERINE R. HUNT, 95, of West Yarmouth, MA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, died at the Cape Cod Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Hunt was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where she graduated from Western High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in 1932 and a masters degree of education in 1958 from Goucher College. Her career included work in bio-statistics at The School of Hygiene and Public Health - Baltimore, many years of teaching in the Baltimore Public Schools, and at the Brynmawr School.

On August 3, 2007, ROBERT E. HUNT, at age 89 years, loving father of Patricia Piraino and husband Otts; grandfather of Nicholas and Alexandra Piraino, father of Jimmy Hunt. Also survived by niece, Shirley LaChance and husband Jack; great-niece Brenda, Devlin and great-nephew Brent Perry, also special friend Mary Hughes. Interment private. Friends are invited to call at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home Inc., 3631 Falls Road on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 5 to 7 P.M. , at which time a memorial service will be held.

Friends may visit the family owned MARCH FUNERAL HOME WEST, INC., 4300 Wabash Avenue on Wednesday after 8:30 a.m. where family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. The family will also receive friends on Thursday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 2812 Reisterstown Road at 11:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12 noon.
