On a night where Hulk Hogan returned to the WWE, a bigger return upstaged him: the return of The Undertaker. At the end of Raw, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman came out, saying they had demanded a title match at Wrestlemania.  According to the two, the Authority had denied them that title match, but instead had allowed him to pick his opponent for Wrestlemania.  They said there was nothing else they wanted but the title, and repeated over and over...

On Monday night, WWE Raw ended with a perfect mix of nostalgia and build for the SummerSlam pay-per-view as the company celebrated Hulk Hogan's birthday. After advertising Hogan's birthday all night, complete with messages from the likes of Larry King and "Weird" Al Yankovic, they finally had a party for him in the final segment of the night. It started with "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Jimmy Hart out in the ring to introduce Hogan. Hogan came out, shilled the WWE Network for a bit, and then thanked the fans.

Parental units and their contemporaries may want to skip "Suburban Commando," but kids should have a pretty good time with this sci-fi action/comedy.A step up for star Hulk Hogan from the wrestling hit "No Holds Barred," this amiable no-brainer pits Mr. Hogan's universe-saving super-warrior, Shep Ramsey, against his greatest challenge: a vacation on Earth."

These days, what were once considered fantasy match-ups between sports heroes of different ages are almost everyday occurrences. Michael Jordan (before he was injured) came out of retirement to take on young basketball stars like Vince Carter and Kobe Bryant. Golden-years golfers like Jack Nicklaus tee it up alongside Tiger Woods. But sports fans still can only imagine what it would have been like to see Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron play against each in other in a World Series, or Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain square off in the NBA Finals.

Shawn Michaels hasn't achieved the mainstream recognition of other World Wrestling Entertainment superstars such as Hulk Hogan, The Rock or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. But among pro wrestling fans, Michaels is considered one of the greatest wrestlers ever, because of his highly athletic style and fluid moves. On Sunday, Michaels, 40, will face 52-year-old Hulk Hogan -- whose legendary charisma overshadows his lack of wrestling technique -- in the main event of WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view show at MCI Center.

Chief Jay Strongbow's cameo on Raw this week brought back a lot of memories. Strongbow, who portrayed a Native American but is actually an Italian-American named Joe Scarpa, wasn't the most athletic-looking guy, but when he went into his war dance, he was unstoppable. Years before Hulk Hogan did his "hulking up" comeback spot, Strongbow's fancy footwork and series of knee lifts would send the crowd into a frenzy. ( For more, go to baltimoresun.com/ringposts)

The WWE made official on Friday what was long-rumored: Hulk Hogan is returning to the company The WWE Hall of Famer is going to return on RAW on Monday, according to the WWE, and will take part in Wrestlemania 30 as a host, similar to what The Rock did for Wrestlemania in 2011. Hogan, 60, was last in the WWE in 2006, when he faced Randy Orton at Summerslam.  That was part of a short run that started in 2005 when he teamed with, and later had a memorable (perhaps for the wrong reasons)

On Monday night, something that was once unthinkable happened: The WWE announced the induction of The Ultimate Warrior into its Hall of Fame. Not much is needed to be said about the in-ring career of Ultimate Warrior (born James Brian Hellwig), or at least the peak of it. After being signed by the WWF, his combination of size and his energy made him one of the most popular wrestlers of that era. His matches, and especially his bizarre promos, are still talked about to this day. His title-vs-title match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI is still considered one of the most memorable matches of all time.

Today's print story details Jeff Hardy's rise back to prominence in TNA . As part of the interview that didn't make the story, Hardy discussed some of the opponents he'd like to step into the squared circle with. Atop that list is former X Division and reigning World Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries, who won the company's top prize earlier this month at the “Destination X” pay-per-view. “From the first moment I saw him on his roll, I was like, 'Wow, this guy is doing some crazy creative stuff,' and then to see him on the mic and just his personality, everything about that guy is really good,” Hardy said.

Makes no bones about it - "No Holds Barred" is not a great movie. So why did WWE decide to digitally remaster the 1989 film and release it on DVD (out today) and why would it interest you? "No Holds Barred" falls in the category of movies that have a cult following probably for the wrong reasons - it's campy, over the top, unintentionally funny. Yet somehow it selects the perfect slices of cheese that you sample and can't stop eating. After an hour-and-a-half, you're left wondering how you were able to sit through the entire movie, but are glad you did and anxiously find others who have as well to share stories.

You could tell it wasn't an ordinary day at Wal-Mart by the number of people milling about clutching Hulk Hogan stuffed dolls and wearing "Hulkamania" T-shirts. A crowd of about 200, including curious store employees, gathered around a makeshift stage in the electronics department of the York, Pa., store on Tuesday to get an up-close glimpse of the legendary pro wrestler. On this day, however, the "Hulkster" was merely the warm-up act. Hogan's teen-age daughter, Brooke, was the main event.
