Spirited Game, a 5-year-old daughter of Not for Love, broke in front and stayed in front over the seven-furlong course at Laurel Park yesterday to upset a field full of stakes winners in the $75,000 Conniver Stakes for fillies and mares, 3 years old and up. A Memorable Place By Amy Houghton Special to the Sun A calm place along Oregon's coast In this age of meditation and wellness centers, just about everyone is familiar with the idea of visualization, the act of taking your mind to a peaceful place and creating a sense of calm. When I need to practice visualization, I conjure up memories of Ocean Haven, a private inn on the Pacific Ocean just south of Yachats, Ore. My husband, Jonathan, and I stayed at the inn during a two-week Seattle-to-San Francisco trip.

On July 25, 2004, MARGARET "Peggy" HOUGHTON RENOFF, of Severna Park, MD, Baltimore, MD, and Sugarloaf Key, FL, died peacefully at Sunrise of Severna Park in the bed she was born in 90 years ago. Wife of the late Paul V. Renoff, mother of Ronald H. Renoff, Lois R. Brockett and Cyndy Renoff, grandmother of Margaret, Catheryn and Warren Paul Brockett, David and Jordan Houghton Taler and mother-in-law of Joyce Renoff, Ward Brockett and George Taler.Peggy Renoff donated her body to science.
