HOPKINS "HOP", beloved husband of Wanda Hopkins, devoted son of Edith Hopkins; loving father of Richard, Rhonda, Everett, April, Randy, Latonya and the late Craig; and grandfather of seven. He is also survived by eight sisters and four brothers. Friends may call at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Avenue and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD., on Wednesday, May 19 from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. Interment Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johns Hopkins Cancer Research Center or the American Cancer Society, for research.

After operating for 105 years within Baltimore City, the Johns Hopkins Health System and the faculty physicians of Hopkins' School of Medicine have opened their first joint outpost in the suburbs -- Johns Hopkins at Green Spring Station.More than 300 physicians, administrators and family members yesterday toured the four-story, $12 million building, part of the Green Spring Station development near Falls and Joppa roads in Lutherville.Hopkins' health system operates 18 primary care centers throughout the region and has working agreements with the Prudential health care plan and others.

The Johns Hopkins University and Milles, Oken and Seals have created a partnership expanding the physicians' internal medicine practice in Columbia.The partnership, announced yesterday, gives Hopkins a minority interest in the Howard County practice.In return, Hopkins agreed to establish specialty clinics, preventive care programs and a clinical research center staffed by Hopkins faculty and Howard County physicians.Hopkins said it will lease space at 5900 Cedar Lane in Columbia, near Howard County General Hospital, to provide space for the clinics.
