The good news is that just 5 percent of business travelers surveyed by Homewood Suites Inc. find business travel very stressful. On the other hand, 68 percent find it at least moderately stressful.That's the kind of thing that Homewood Suites, a Memphis-based chain of extended-stay hotels, wants to know.In a survey of up to 504 business travelers staying in the company's 19 hotels, Homewood Suites learned some telling -- but not surprising -- things about what stresses out business travelers.

Insurance Planning Can Make the Difference" is the topc for the Women In Business breakfast meeting Friday, Nov. 11, from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. at Homewood Suites by Hilton, 8320 Benson Drive, in Columbia. A few travel odds and ends this week: * New hotels Hilton has opened two hotels under one roof near Arundel Mills. The 11-story, 250-room hotel complex, a first of its kind, combines a Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in the same building, but with separate entrances and floors. The hotels are at 7491 New Ridge Road in Hanover. Call 410-878-7200 (Hilton Garden Inn) or 410-878-7201 (Homewood Suites). Also at Arundel Mills, Starwood in May will open Aloft, a boutique-style hotel that aims to be more affordable - while still being more stylish - than most.

Nancy L. Gould, a Bible study teacher who aided in the development of a Washington County home for mentally and physically challenged adults, died Oct. 2 in her sleep of unknown causes at Homewood Suites, a Hagerstown hotel. The Severna Park resident was 72. "We were in Hagerstown for a volunteer fundraiser for Star Community," at the time of her death, said her husband of 49 years, Dr. William Michael Gould III, a dermatologist who is a member of the home's board. The daughter of the former CEO of Augusta Federal Savings & Loan and a homemaker, Nancy Luette Engroff was born in Baltimore and raised in Catonsville and Towson.
