On March 21, 2003; HILDEGARD P., formerly of Brooklyn; beloved wife of the late John C. "Jack" Miller and loving daughter of the late Henry S. Meyers and Anna Meyers (nee Ankewitz). Friends will be received at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Avenue (Brooklyn) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM, where Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Louden Park Cemetery.

On October 28, 2005, ERNA ENGROFF, 91, a longtime resident of Towson, passed away peacefully at Mountain Heights Health Care Facility in Patten, ME after a long illness. Erna was born in Baltimore on June 17, 1914, to Richard and Louisa Schneider, who owned and operated the first Barber School in the city. The family moved to Baker Avenue, in Catonsville in 1921. Erna graduated from Catonsville High School in 1931. She then attended Beauty School, and was a Hairdresser in Baltimore for many years.

On October 30, 2005 MARY HILDEGARD CURRENS, loving wife of the late Ransom L. Currens, mother of Jane Deweib, also survived by sister Gertrude Cooney from Silver Spring. Family will receive friends at the WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OFCATONSVILLE INC., 1630 Edmondson Ave (1 mi West of Beltway Exit 14) on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. where services will be held on Wednesday at 1 P.M. Interment in Mountview Cemetery.

On Sunday, January 11, 2004, HILDEGARDE F. FLANAGAN, 95. Born in Hinton, WV, she was raised in the Winchester, VA area. She attended Virginia Intermont School and graduated from the University of Maryland. She taught in the Baltimore County School System for 27 years. She made Tallahassee her home in 1972. She moved to Brighton Gardens in Danvers, MA, in February of 2002. Survivors include son, Carl P. Flanagan, Jr.; daughter, Sally F. Flickinger; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
