MIDDLETOWN - State police were investigating yesterday the death of a 52-year-old West Virginia man who apparently jumped from a moving vehicle and hit a guardrail on Interstate 70 in Frederick County. Police said Arthur King of Hedgesville, W. Va., asked his wife to pull over onto the shoulder of westbound I-70 near Middletown about 10:40 p.m. Saturday.
