Anne Arundel County police were searching last night for a 3-year-old Severna Park boy who was missing along with an adult cousin.Michael Burris, of the 500 block of Manor Road, was last seen about noon yesterday in the parking lot of the Hair Cuttery at 157 Ritchie Highway, police said.Officer Ross Passman gave this account of the boy's disappearance:The boy's mother, Dianne Bradford, was getting a haircut and allowed her nephew to take the boy for a ride.The nephew, Scott Alan Smallwood, 24, of the 700 block of Trenton Ave., asked the boy's mother if he could take the child to Lake Waterford Park a short distance away.

Baltimore CityROBBERY: Western District -- A 15-year-old boy from the 1700 block of Presstman St. was walking in the 1200 block of N. Fulton Ave. Sunday when a man in his 30s struck him and robbed him of a bottle of tire cleaner valued at $12. Later, police arrested Dennis Williams, 32, of the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave., and charged him with assault and robbery.THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a known suspect who went behind the counter at Sweety's ice cream store in the 1000 block of W. 36th St. Sunday evening and stole a bag containing an undisclosed sum of money.

Two men jailed Tuesday on charges of breaking into seven hair salons and a candy store in Baltimore County are suspects in as many as 80 burglaries at businesses in six counties, authorities said yesterday.In the Baltimore County cases -- and in the others in Anne Arundel, Howard, Harford, Frederick and Montgomery counties -- burglars pried open back doors and stole money, police said.BTC Charged in the burglaries committed from November to March were Charles B. Kropfelder, 30, of the 100 block of Sipple Ave. in Baltimore, who was arrested at his job at an Owings Mills paint store, and Christopher M. Ayres, 26, who was taken into custody at his Timonium home in the 100 block of Northwood Road, police said.

MASKED MAN ROBS ROY'S CAR WASHA masked man armed with a gun robbed the Roy's Glen Burnie Car Wash on Wednesday.The police said the robber walked into the car wash in the 900 block of Crain Highway about 8 p.m. and forced the cashier into a rear storage room, took money from the cash register and left.The cashier escaped through a rear door and called police.The police said the robber was white, about 25, and he was wearing blue jeans and a light blue jacket.VA. A 23-year-old Taneytown man has been charged with burglarizing 17 small businesses in Carroll County, including seven in Westminster, said Westminster and state police. James Henderson Bryant III of the 100 block of Carnival Drive was released on $50,000 unsecured bail set by a District Court commissioner in the Westminster cases, police said. Those charges include multiple counts of second- and fourth-degree burglary and attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of theft of more than $500, five counts of theft of less than $500, and malicious destruction of property - doors, windows and cash registers.

Someone broke into two neighboring businesses Monday and stole more than $300, county police said.Police were called to investigate a burglary at the Hair Cuttery in the 7300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. about 9 a.m.Police said the burglar pried open a rear door, ransacked a rear office and took a $125 bank deposit.About five minutes later, police were called to the Hong Kong restaurant a few doors away.The manager told the officers that the restaurant had been burglarized in the same manner as the hair salon and that $250 was missing from the cash register, police said.

Parents and students waiting until the last minute to do their back-to-school shopping can get help, at least in fashions, from Cranberry Mall's Back-to-School Fashion Show at 2 p.m. tomorrow in center court.About 30 local young people from ages 4 to 21, assisted by professional models from the John Casablancas Modeling Agency in Towson, will show the latest fall fashions for kindergartners to college students."We'll have several categories of fashions -- classics, newest trends, Western clothes, what you'd wear to a football game, semi-formal, formal and sportswear," said Michele Grewe, marketing assistant for Cranberry Mall.
