HAGERSTOWN -- The Macon Braves defeated the Hagerstown Suns, 7-4, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.The Braves (17-19) got three runs in the first inning. Miguel Correre and David Toth drove in the first two runs, and the third run scored on an error. In the sixth, a two-run single by RalphGarr highlighted another three-run inning, giving Macon a 6-1 lead.The Suns pulled within 6-4 on a three-run home run by Ricky Cradle in the eighth inning. D. J. Boston had three hits for Hagerstown, and Ramon Nunez and Bobby Smith each had two for Macon.

Rainbows last night in a Single-A South Atlantic League game.It was the Suns' fifth straight win and their 10th straight at home.Andy Dolson (8-7) allowed three earned runs on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings, striking out eight and walking none.Lee Daniels gave up one hit in the final 1 1/3 innings for his 10th save.Loser Ramiro Martinez (4-6) gave up four runs on seven hits in four innings.
