On June 6, 2004, MAXENE W. HIGGINBOTHAM, loving sister of Ruth Robinson and her husband Lawrence Robinson and Gwendolyn Seaborne; dear aunt to Dr. Shawn Robinson and Hildreth Robinson. Also survived by other nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Grace Presbyterian Church, located at 2604 Bannister Road, near Greenspring Avenue. Family time at 10:30 a.m. and services to follow at ll:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Grace Outreach Center, 2605 Bannister Road, Baltimore, MD 21215.

Levin, beloved mother of Joel Levin of Rockville, MD, Murray Harold Levin, Philip Samuel Levin, both of Baltimore, MD. Devoted mother-in-law of Rachelle Levin. Devoted sister of Bernard Toback, Ethel Rauch, Shirley Levin and Annette Burgan, and the late Rose Bloom. Loving grandmother of Jamie, Shawn, and Shelley Levin. Loving step-grandmother of Dawn Pearson. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS INC., 8900 Reisterstown Rd., at Mt. Wilson Lane, on Monday, February 2, at 10 A.M. As of 9 a.m. Thursday, traffic was slow on the inner loop of I-695 near Belair Road, due to an accident. Accidents were slowing traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near Greenspring Avenue in Baltimore County, on U.S. 40 eastbound near I-695 in Baltimore County and on Eastern Boulevard near White Marsh Boulevard in Baltimore County. There were no major delays on Baltimore area transit systems.

On March 2, 2005, LOUISE LIPPINCOTT THOMPSON, passed away, she was born November 17, 1914. Lousie was a longtime resident of the Greater Baltimore area; beloved wife of the late Albert Fleming Thompson; devoted mother of David, Nancy and Jim. She is survived by her children, and five grandchildren who loved her dearly: Camille, Caitlin, Emily, Bridget, Daniel. A Memorial Service will be held April 2 at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, Owings Mills, Maryland, followed by a reception at Blakehurst, 1055 W. Joppa Rd. in Towson.

On February 2, 2004 WAYMAN, beloved husband of Beatrice Holley. Also survived by two daughters Deborah and Elizabeth Holley, one sister Flora Dargan, one brother Timothy Holley, one niece, four nephews and host of other relatives and friends. Viewing at Grace Presbyterian Church, Greenspring Avenue and Banister Road, Monday 2 to 6 P.M. Family hour Tuesday 10 to 11 A.M. at the Church, followed by the funeral service. Interment in Garrison Forest Veteran Cemetery. Omega Service 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Church.

1) STONEY RUNI grew up on the edge of Leakin Park, known chiefly as where murder victims are unceremoniously dumped. But its hills were cut with old, worn paths, and in five minutes, you could walk far enough so that the nearby houses disappeared.A similar illusion is provided by Stoney Run Park, in the Roland Park area. Although a few houses are still visible along the two paths on both sides of Stoney Run Creek, the short walk -- about a mile round trip -- provides a quick escape from the city beyond.

State Highway Administration officials will be closing ramps on the Jones Falls Expressway (Interstate 83) and the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695) during the next few days for roadwork.From 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. tomorrow, the inner loop ramp from the JFX northbound to eastbound I-695 will be closed. One lane will be closed at 7 p.m. when crews begin work, officials said.Motorists will be directed to follow the outer loop, westbound I-695, to Exit 22 at Greenspring Avenue, then loop back to eastbound I-695.
