Loizeaux; dear brother of Fritz Ploger, of Germany. Also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services and interment private.

C. Dembinsky Jr.Athlete, deputy sheriffCharles "Bubby" Dembinsky Jr., a former semiprofessional baseball player and deputy sheriff, died of a heart attack Wednesday at the home of a daughter in Pasadena. He was 75 and lived in Baltimore's Westport neighborhood until December. A Baltimore native, he worked 12 years as a deputy city sheriff after retiring as a mold-maker at the Carr-Lowrey Glass Co.He was a lifelong baseball enthusiast, playing and managing through the early 1950s, according to a son Charles "Sonny" Dembinsky III of Baltimore.

WHEN THE YOUNGEST children at St. Joseph School in Fullerton checked out their first libraty books of the year Thursday, the man doing the stamping was a 70-year-old grandfather wearing a Mickey Mouse watch. For many of the kindergartners, dressed in gray and burgundy uniforms, it was a new experience. Some had yet, to grasp the concept of borrowing. "I think I'm going to buy this one," said one child as he surveyed an array of picture books along one wall of the Baltimore County school's library.

Blanche Marie Dick, 93, grocery store cashier Blanche Marie Dick, a mother of seven and a former cashier and clerk at grocery stores in Gambrills from the 1940s to the 1960s, died of heart failure Friday at North Arundel Hospital. She was 93. Blanche Marie Brown was born in Martinsburg, W. Va., where she attended school through the ninth grade. She was married in 1929 to James Grantham Dick, who died in 1988. A Gambrills resident for 29 years, she previously resided in Woodwardville.
