Myrtle L. FaithfulHelped found sororityMyrtle Lavenia Faithful, who in 1920 helped found the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at Howard University, died Wednesday of pneumonia at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.She was 91 and had lived at the TABCO Towers Apartments in Towson since 1976.She and a sister, the late Viola Tyler Goings, were among the five women who started the service and social sorority as a sister organization to the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. She was the second national president of the sorority, which has since grown to include at least 550 graduate and college chapters and 75,000 members.

Deibel, III, and wife Catherine Deibel of Havre de Grace, grandfather of four, great-grandfather of five, brother of Elizabeth Hobday Isaac of Baltimore, MD, and uncle of two nephews. Grace L. Burke, retired associate director of personnel at Morgan State University, died Sunday at Howard County General Hospital after a long illness. She was 81 and lived on Harpers Farm Road in Columbia.Services for Mrs. Burke were being held today at Grace Presbyterian Church, Greenspring Avenue and Bannister Road.She retired from Morgan in 1978. She began working there in 1947 as secretary to the dean.She was a deacon at Grace Presbyterian Church and a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Daytimers, a social club.

Clarence W. Blount: A memorial service for Clarence W. Blount, an influential former state senator who died Saturday, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Morgan State University's fine arts center. A funeral for Mr. Blount, the Senate's first African-American majority leader, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Presbyterian Church, 2604 Banister Road. Mr. Blount will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family said donations may be sent to Grace Outreach Corp., a community outreach center at 2605 Banister Road, Baltimore 21215.
